Actor Will Smith reported that he recently found himself in an awkward situation when his 13-year-old son Jaden asked US President Barack Obama about the existence of aliens.

“I was in the White House with my family,” Smith recalled on BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles program on Wednesday. “Me, Jada and the children, we walked through the White House. And the night before that Jaden said to me: “Dad, I have to ask the President about the aliens. I thought, "Dude, no." Is not cool. It is not comfortable."

“You had to take this opportunity,” says Moyles.

“I thought, Jaden, don't ask the president,” Smith continued. “And so we get into the situation room and Barack started talking about her. Then Jaden says: "Sorry, Mr. President … I interrupted:" Hey, Barack, … "And Barack said:" Shut up. " He stopped, looked at Jaden and said, “Aliens, right?"

"And he said, 'I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, but I can tell you if there was a top secret meeting or if there was a discussion about it, it would have happened in this room.'"

Smith, who stars in the upcoming Men in Black III and other classic sci-fi movies like Independence Day, added that he didn't really need a presidential confirmation.

“I already have top-secret information,” said the actor. “I just can't share it. Do not think that I have been in all these films and have not been informed by the White House. Of course I know. I just can't tell you."
