Kosmopoisk collected UFO sightings in Kazan from late June to early September this year. It was noted that the number of such cases was higher than ever. Moreover, according to eyewitnesses, a new type of UFO was seen, which began to be observed with the onset of darkness - these are luminous objects that form a cluster high in the sky.
- On June 24, at 23:32, the movement of objects in the form of the constellation Orion was noticed. The eyewitness was in the village of Osinovo. According to him, the objects moved in a westerly direction, and when they disappeared, they left behind "new celestial bodies of unknown origin." About 300 pieces. It was not possible to photograph the phenomenon, because "the lights were covered with light."
- On July 29 at 22:30 from Komarova Street we examined several luminous objects at a height of about 100 meters. According to observers, the speed was 30 km / h.
- July 30 at 21:05 - "a three-star UFO in the village of Yudino" was observed during a thunderstorm. The eyewitness was between school # 152 and the Petushok kindergarten. "Triangle" was moving at high speed towards "Lagernaya". The UFO body had rounded edges.
- August 1 - a lot of luminous objects in the sky over Kazan were observed from Otradnaya Street. According to eyewitnesses, “the cloud of white dots moved slowly”, there were “300, maybe 500, maybe 1000 pieces” at a height of 8 to 10 meters above the ground.
- August 5 - the appearance of a UFO in several districts of Kazan. On Chistopolskaya Street, there were flickering red-green lights flying silently. At 21:00, about 20 outlined, round dots of white and yellow colors flew like a flock of birds eastward in the Soviet region (Tankodrom). “Some of the lights moved clearly, without exactly changing the speed, some were playing a little, as it were,” eyewitnesses say.
Representatives of "Cosmopoisk" say that for UFOs, among other things, they could have taken luminous helium balloons. At the same time, there are hard-to-explain cases - one of them occurred in the village of Konstantinovka:
“On the night of August 25, a man took pictures of objects that were flying over the village in pairs. At the end of the video, there were already three of them. They did not look like airplanes or helicopters,”they say in“Cosmopoisk”.
