When Harmonie-Rose Allen was only 10 months old, she was admitted to the hospital with very severe meningitis. Her life was hanging by a thread. The girl managed to survive, but the child lost both legs to the knee and both arms, one completely and the other to the elbow, as well as part of the nose.
Now Harmony-Rose is 2 years old and special prosthetic arms and legs were made for her. And the other day, her parents gave her a new doll, which, like her little mistress, has no arms and legs, but has four prostheses. According to the parents, this will help their girl to better accept her condition and master prostheses.

Such a serious condition of the baby is due to the fact that her illness was not immediately identified. When Harmony was first admitted to the hospital at the age of 10 months with a deterioration in health, the doctors at first did not find anything wrong with her and the child and her parents were sent home.
The very next morning, cyanotic spots appeared on the girl's skin, but even then the parents were told not to worry that it was just a cold and again did not take Harmony to the hospital. By the end of the same day, the girl became completely lethargic and she was again taken to the hospital, this time finally, as she developed a characteristic purple rash all over her body.
And then the doctors said that this is one of the worst forms of meningitis that they have seen. The child was given only a 10% chance of survival and placed in a special life support apparatus. In the future, her infected limbs and the tip of her nose were amputated one after another, and only then the disease was defeated.
