As the girl said, she recently flew on a business trip and decided to take a selfie in the cabin of the plane, and later noticed something fantastic in the pictures.
“I posted the photo on a social network, and then questions and comments began,” the publication quotes Olesya. "Only after that did I notice the passenger in the photo behind me."
The "passenger", if it is a person, has a very strange shape. Friends of the girl immediately discovered the similarity of the silhouette to a humanoid or a ghost, and some tried to find a more rational explanation - the effect of light refraction.
The journalists turned to Viktor Lunev, an expert at the Logovushka flight center, former commander of the Yak-40, and an excellent student of Aeroflot, for a comment.
“Pilots are a superstitious people who believe in mysticism and omens. But the photograph, in my opinion, does not depict anything mystical. Probably, this is an object or a passenger, the outlines of which are blurred due to low light and poor image quality, Lunev suggests.
“I have flown 15 thousand hours in civil aviation, but have never encountered anything mystical in flight. All the strange phenomena, optical illusions that I observed while sitting at the controls of an airplane can be explained using the laws of physics. There was a case when his double appeared under my plane. It turned out to be a reflection in the water droplets that floated in the air,”the pilot shared.
