According to Bellamy, at the time he was kidnapped, he was 16 or 17 years old, he was just on his way to his girlfriend and noticed a flashing light, which was strange for this time of day. What happened next, the guitarist did not remember, woke up already at home. How he managed to get to his bed, the musician does not remember. Matthew Bellamy admitted that since he was driving, he clearly did not drink anything, and does not want to hint at something else, however, he may have smoked something that grew up in Devon.
The frontman admitted that he does not know what actually happened to him, maybe it was a helicopter, or aliens, his judgment was strange then. In response to Bellamy's confession, Muse drummer Dominic Howard joked that he had never encountered a UFO, but he was abducted from bed by goblins.
