The UFO over the Kremlin was most likely … of terrestrial origin. This is the conclusion reached by experts in the analysis of such phenomena from the "Cosmopoisk" group. Having become interested in an unusual three-dimensional triangle, they organized a whole investigation and came to the conclusion that a giant Kremlin “mirror”, or rather an ice rink, was involved in the appearance of the “aliens”

About the strange figure that hovered on one of the December days right above Red Square has been written in the last week by reading all the media. However, there were not so many witnesses to this spectacle: one motorist who drove in the evening in the vicinity of Red Square, and an observer who saw a UFO from the window.

However, ufologists decided to solve this riddle completely and even try to simulate it again near the Kremlin.

“We cannot yet discount the aliens and the tetrahedron itself - a balloon in the shape of a three-dimensional triangle, which someone launched for fun,” says the group leader Vadim CHERNOBROV. - However, for these versions I would give no more than 2-3%, since none of the people we interviewed on the Internet and in the Kremlin area could confirm that they had seen the subject with their own eyes. This means that there remains a variant with glare reflected from the glass of the car from which the shooting was carried out, and the geometry of the Kremlin projectors.

Search engines are working on these two versions in parallel. They want to simulate a car ride with objects stacked on a shelf under the rear window in the near future. As for the Kremlin searchlights, which could give an amazing projection onto the clouds, "Cosmopoisk" considers this version the most realistic.

“The whole thing, in my opinion, is in the ice rink,” says Chernobrov. - At first we thought that the highlights from it could have been projected by the lights themselves. However, having interviewed them, we found out that they did not do this, and the power of their searchlights for such an image would not be enough. It is quite another matter - three powerful searchlights installed at GUM. If one of the caretakers accidentally threw light "bunnies" into the sky, for example, when adjusting their direction or for some other reason, then they could well give a three-dimensional image of the clouds in the form of a tetrahedron. In support of this version, we are now developing a geometric model of such a projection.

Commentary from one of the main experts in lighting design of buildings, head of the Department of Architectural Physics of the Moscow Architectural Institute Nikolai SHEPETKOV

- I saw this pyramid above the Kremlin on the news and I believe that, as an option, it could well have been created by human hands using light projections onto clouds. This requires a large and powerful light cannon and a slide, which it would project onto the cloud using the overhead projector principle. By the way, in 2000 in Veliky Ustyug we made a projection onto the clouds in the form of images of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden.

From what distance could the projection to the Kremlin be launched?

- From 150 to 500 meters.
