The settling of Australia by Europeans began two hundred years ago. The first settlers were mostly British convicts, among them stories appeared about the "ghost lights" of Min-Ming (especially in West Queensland). Ghosts were glowing balls of different colors and brightness, floating above the surface of the earth.
Visual observations of UFOs, contacts with them and abductions of earthlings began around 1868, when there was an interesting case with the surveyor Birmingham, who flew in "a machine that goes through the air, like an ark." And here is the farming family legend of the contact: Year - 1893, location - New South Wales (southeast Australia). The grain grower told everyone who was ready to listen about a disk-shaped UFO that had landed on his site, from which a “man” in strange clothes emerged. Not understanding the intentions of the Australian approaching him, the "man" directed the "torch" at that. By an unknown force, the farmer was thrown to the ground and lost consciousness. When he came to his senses, there was no UFO and "man". His hand remained paralyzed for the rest of his life (it was touched by the beam of the "torch"). There were many similar cases in the States after World War II …
I have already talked about the most interesting contact with a "blank" UFO in 1925 in Western Australia. The same contact, as I found out quite recently, occurred in the late 1980s near Alushta and was investigated by Listratov! How similar were these incidents and how far is Alushta from the west of Austria!
In 1931, the famous pilot Sir Francis Chichester made a solo flight between New Zealand and Australia. In the clear sky, illuminated by the sun, he noticed bright flashes of light. An airship of gray and white tones, like an "oblong pearl", was approaching him.
The sky was clear, only two clouds could be seen far away. The pilot rubbed his eyes, not believing himself, maneuvering from, side to side, thinking that it was a mirage. UFOs disappeared and reappeared, marking their appearance with flashes of light. Chichester spotted a second UFO similar to the first. The pilot thought at first that perhaps small clouds took the form of air ships, but how can a cloud keep the same shape over and over again?..
1966 year. Location of incident: Queensland, Queen's Land. Here is what was reported in the documents of the official inquiry in this case. “At about 9 am on January 19, 1966, J. A. Pedley, a banana plantation owner in Tully, Queensland, observed a light gray object that did not reflect light. The object rose vertically, then took off at a 45-degree angle about 30 feet above the marshland, approximately 25 feet from Pedley. The takeoff is accompanied by hissing noises, which diminish as the object is lifted. The shape of the object resembled “two plates stacked face to face”. On the marsh grass, in the place from which the object took off, there remained, as evidence, a clearly delineated, almost round, depressed trace. The dimensions of the trail are 32 feet long and 25 feet wide. The grass was crushed in a counterclockwise direction. The blades of grass were uprooted. There were no traces of burnt grass or trees anywhere …
In September 1980, a Victoria farmer was awakened by the noise and hubbub of agitated cattle. Coming out of the house at a distance of 150 meters, he saw a spherical object sliding 2-3 meters above the ground. The object lingered over a water tank, then landed nearby. The farmer drove up to the object on a motorcycle and stopped about 15 meters from it. The object emitted a loud whistling sound and the farmer was forced to cover his ears with his hands. After three minutes, the object made a louder sound, rose slowly, and swam east. But he left a clear mark: a "bagel-shaped" ring, 9 meters in diameter. The trail remained a year later. The farmer after this meeting was unwell for a whole week (a consequence of the contact).

An interesting case happened in 1978, when a young Australian pilot, Frederick Valentich, went missing.
He was flying a light airplane Chesna-182 from an airfield near Melbourne to neighboring King's Island, intending to return that evening. During the flight, he discovered a mysterious glow near his plane. Valentich contacted the dispatcher in Melbourne and was told that there were no planes near him. In the following minutes, Valentich, with deep excitement, told the dispatchers about the spotted object and its actions. The UFO flew over his plane, and once, according to Valentich, "orbital". The pilot then reported that the object was "hovering over him and it was not an aircraft." These were his last words. Communication with the airfield was interrupted.
They searched for Valentich for a long time, but never found him.
The incident that happened to the Knowles family on January 20, 1988 was extremely confusing and complex: there was both damage to the car and testimony of an independent eyewitness. The investigation was conducted by several investigators-ufologists in Australia.
The Knowles family of four was heading to Melbourne through the desolate Nullarbor Steppe. At about 4 am, while the car was west of Mundrabilla, Sean Knowles noticed a bright light ahead (they were driving east). The light gradually approached the car until the family saw what looked like a chicken egg in a cup. The object blocked the road at times. After Knowles' car passed another car, the UFO seemed to leave them alone and rushed after another car. Knowles, curious people, turned the car around, but the UFO disappeared.
And suddenly, as they drove eastward again, they heard a crash and realized that a UFO had landed on the roof of their Ford sedan. Knowles reported that the UFO lifted their car in the direction of travel. The dogs accompanying the Knowles were terribly frightened, black smoke rushed into the cockpit, the Knowles speech changed, becoming slow, how much time had passed, they do not know, but their car was thrown to the ground, during this “landing” the right rear tire burst. Sean stopped the car, and the terrified family hid in the bushes. A quarter of an hour later, the UFO flew away, and the Knowles quickly changed the tire and drove off.
Their story was confirmed by Graham Henley, the truck driver ahead of the Knowles. At about 4 o'clock in the morning, he saw a light that looked like a "big egg". The famous American ufologist Richard F. Haynes analyzed the composition of the dust found in the car.
But the uproar made by the sensationalist press made the investigation difficult.

A MESSAGE FROM THE STONEHEDGE BUILDERS
Stonehenge, an ancient Cyclopean structure, was erected at the turn of the Stone and Bronze Ages, almost 4,000 years ago. And the great-grandfathers of those who fought in Troy were not born when the mysterious builders of Stonehenge appeared in England. Who, where, why?.. Scientists of our planet have been asking themselves these questions for centuries. Why were giant stones set in circles, ring shafts poured, numerous holes drilled in the ground?
Andrey Evgenievich Zlobin, Russian mechanical engineer and mathematician, candidate of technical sciences, sent the most interesting materials to the Center for Russian Ufology Research. I will acquaint Americans with his hypothesis in one of the national magazines. In the same article I would like to tell about Zlobin's ideas to the readers of Panorama.
Stonehenge, a giant complex, is located in the south of England and is only fully visible from a great height. It is a system of concentric circles with a diameter of more than one hundred meters, marked on the ground by ramparts, holes and huge megalithic stones. The most amazing part of the complex is the five “triliths”, double stone blocks, covered with heavy slabs on top. Fifty-ton blocks of triliths are installed in the very center of the structure and resemble a horseshoe in plan. No less impressive is the “sarsen ring” (sarsen is a mineral), encompassing the trilithic complex from all sides. The stones of the ring are less than seven meters in height - they weigh “only” 25 tons.
Stonehenge's research history goes back many decades. Archaeologists, who initially saw in Stonehenge only an ordinary religious building intended for the performance of religious rites by the ancient Britons, were subsequently forced to make significant adjustments to their assumptions. Famous scientists, one after another, convincingly showed that the layout of the complex is closely related to a number of modern astronomical, physical and mathematical knowledge.
Continuing his research, Andrei Zlobin came to unexpected conclusions. As shown by the mathematical calculations, the four circles of Stonehenge (see diagram) formed by the “chalk shaft”, sarsen ring, holes “game” and holes “z” simulate the solution of the problem of the German scientist Dirichlet for the Laplace equation with amazing accuracy. At the same time, the circles themselves, which are the isolines of the solution, are plotted on the terrain with an even multiplicity, which practically completely excludes the possibility of accidental coincidence. In such an unusual way for us, geometrically, mathematical values are “written down” on the earth.
The triliths, the purpose of which was still not entirely clear, were made by unknown builders of different heights and, as previously shown by the well-known Stonehenge explorer Gerald Hawkins, each of them was tied by the position of the Sun and Moon at a particular moment in time. Now, perhaps, the meaning of the phrase becomes clear, a fragment of which has come down to us from ancient times: "… bind the Sun with a stone chain …".
On closer examination of the Stonehenge plan, another feature is striking. Both the sarsen ring and the trilith horseshoe are made of stone; both figures are repeated twice on the ground; both figures are repeated from the inner side of the stones, both - by chains of special blue stones; the chain of blue stones is parallel to the line of the figure. But isn't the "modern" equal sign written in two parallel lines? It is quite possible that in such an unusual way the same phrase is repeated several times and by different means: "triliths are equal to the ring."
What is it? Fantasy? Accident? Unlikely. In addition to the amazing logic, everything that has been said is confirmed by careful calculations. It is interesting that Stonehenge itself is strikingly reminiscent of a "difference grid" by the point structure of its numerous holes, by the clear boundaries of the circles. That is exactly what one usually cannot do without when solving complex differential equations on a computer. Let's remember that J. Hawkins, delighted with the hidden logic of Stonehenge, called the ancient structure "Stone Age computer".
Stonehenge, which is sometimes called the "Dance of the Giants", once again demonstrates its uniqueness. And sometimes the ancient stone giant reminds of itself where, it would seem, even a mention of it looks completely inappropriate.
But this is only at first glance. How, for example, can one explain the striking resemblance between Stonehenge and the flying island Laputa described by Jonathan Swift in Gulliver's Travels? How to explain that even the very name Stonehenge ("suspended stone" - as Zlobin translates from English) is in full accordance with the description of the flying island, in the center of which, according to Swift, a huge magnet was suspended. Perhaps the writer came up with his Laputa, inspired by the size and grandeur of the ancient monument? Indeed, for this he did not need to go too far - Stonehenge is located nearby, on the Salisbury Plain, in the native England of the writer …
But my story about the Russian scientist Andrei Zlobin does not end there. Among the materials received by the Center are articles by a remarkable journalist, researcher of anomalous phenomena, Vladimir Lagovsky. We frequently exchange information with him. At one time, Lagovsky published several articles about 3lobin in the "working tribune". The fundamental constants "pi", "E and" phi "from ancient times not only attract mathematicians - they fascinate. And it is no coincidence. Lagovsky in his article "The Mathematics of Star Chords" ("Working Tribune", July 30, 1993) asserts that they are the three pillars on which the entire universe was built.
Irrational values "pi", "E and" phi "are universal. They are widespread in various patterns, and there is no area of human knowledge where they do not play an important role. This made scientists look for equations that would combine the triad of world constants of nature. Such attempts have been made. It was possible to combine the two numbers. Only two, but even that was regarded as a victory. The greatest triumph of mathematics, for example, is the discovery of the formula connecting pi and E. It was brought out by Euler, and later de Moivre, after whom the formula was named. The equation for the three constants remained unknown. It was received by the mathematician Andrei Zlobin, presenting the solution to this problem in the form of an incredibly simple expression. By chance, according to 3lobin, he found a universal formula. Found, decoded that; that was written down by someone a long time ago.
In other words, the current discovery can be safely considered not only mathematical, but also archaeological. Stonehenge … It was in this ancient structure in the south of England that the coveted formula was hidden.
Andrey Zlobin discovered and is ready to prove to anyone that Stonehenge is a kind of computer. The logical cells in it are stones and rings. Established according to certain laws, they, among other things, simulate the basic equations of mathematical physics: the Laplace equation, the diffusion equation and the equation describing wave processes. But the most interesting thing in all this is that the equations can be solved by setting the boundary conditions, taken here - in Stonehenge. This discovery alone is worthy of amazement. The formula is its consequence.
- Look, - explains Zlobin, - we solve the Laplace equation. For this we use a physical analogy. It is easy to imagine Stonehenge rings - rings of a certain capacitor. We introduce the boundary conditions: the relative charge on the inner ring - 10, on the outer - 0. The task is to find the potential distribution in the space between them. And it turns out that the parameters of the rings indicated on the diagram X, Y and Z exactly correspond to the solution of the equation. Simultaneously, the potentials on these rings can be expressed through "pi", "E, and" phi ". And using the ratio obtained as a result of the solution, write down the desired formula.
What is the meaning of Zlobin's formula?
- Any mathematician will confirm, - says Zlobin, - that the formula unites the harmony of number and form into one whole. Everything else - and the forms of living things. Because "phi" - "golden proportion" - is somehow present in us and in all living organisms around us. The "golden proportion" can be found even in a shell. What a shell? The genetic code, music, poetry, biorhythms, the movement of planets - wherever you look, you will surely find the "golden proportion". I have reason to assert that this principle is characteristic of the entire universe. The laws of the Cosmos are the same for everyone. So is it not surprising that, using a formula, the language of nature can be translated into the language of mathematics?
On the right side of the formula is the number 1.0079 … This is the exact atomic weight of hydrogen! Think about the meaning: an exclusively physical parameter is expressed through fundamental constants. For the first time, a well-defined mathematical logic was given to the universe. And once again the common truth is confirmed that everything is interconnected.
And now, perhaps, the most important consequence. The formula automatically sets a universal system of measurements - mass, length and time.
The mass standard is on the right. Why is the standard and why is it universal? Yes, because it is expressed in relative atomic units - times. And at the same time it is calculated through independent fundamental constants - two. This is not the iridium weight of the Chamber of Weights and Measures, of which only mankind has an idea. This is not a kilogram or a foot - these are conventional values. Go and explain what they are - it may not work. And using the formula, anyone can easily determine the unit of mass measurement, regardless of the surrounding conditions.
As you know, modern science has chosen the astronomical atomic-beam cesium clock as the standard of time. As long as they are satisfied. But international scientific organizations are already discussing the feasibility of switching to the hydrogen standard for frequency and time. Since hydrogen is the most widespread element in the Universe, the relative units of measurements measured for this galactic “arshin” may well be universal for the entire Universe.
The galactically universal measurement system is needed to communicate with other intelligent beings in the Universe. Humanity takes extraterrestrial civilizations more than seriously. Millions of dollars are spent annually trying to establish contact with them. The Americans are listening to Space with giant radio telescopes. A station has been launched outside the solar system with a message carved into a metal plate. Archaeologists are looking for evidence of brothers in mind visiting Earth in ancient times. However, it is interesting not only to receive the news, but also to understand it. We need to be understood as well. This requires something versatile. If not language, then at least a system of measurements.
Here is what astrophysicist Joseph Shklovsky, a classic of the science of extraterrestrial civilizations, wrote in his famous book "Universe, Life, Mind":
"… Cocconi and Morrison proposed a very elegant idea, indicating the frequency at which artificial signals should be looked for in the first place … Studies of the Universe at a wavelength of 21 cm (the wave of the hydrogen radio line) are the most powerful method of understanding its nature. In addition, hydrogen is the most widespread element in the universe … It is logically inevitable that the language of nature itself should be understandable and universal for all intelligent beings in the universe, no matter how different they may be. The laws of nature are objective and therefore the same for all sentient beings."
Therefore, the idea of hydrogen, encrypted by the unknown creators of Stonehenge, is already in the air.
In a graphic representation, a formula is a set of five circles. Translated into the language of radio emissions, this is a set of five frequencies, and the main in it may be the frequency of radio emission of hydrogen. And together - this is a code that must be transmitted at once - "chord", and not "separate notes." Humanity has not yet made such attempts. The Americans, in search of the long-awaited signal from their brothers in mind, are going to look for orderliness, going through several million frequencies caught by the radio telescope one by one. This tactic has not yet brought success. Previous analysis of hundreds of thousands of frequencies gave nothing. And it is not known whether quantity will turn into quality. So, maybe it's time to change the approach fundamentally - and listen to the "chords" - sets of frequencies that fit exactly into the proposed formula.
What is it all the same, Stonehenge? According to the hypothesis of Andrey Zlobin, Stonehenge is a means of transmitting a message left to people. Left so that it "reaches" at a certain point in time - when humanity has accumulated enough knowledge to decipher it. Let us conditionally call this means "computer" and thus remove all contradictions. Probably, those who say that Stonehenge is an iconic building for sacrifices are right. Those who classify it as a complex astronomical instrument are right. But Zlobin is also right, having discovered new knowledge in Stonehenge. After all, in the same way a computer can drive nails, you can multiply five by six on it. And you can also get information stored in his memory.
For the first time, a mathematical key has been selected for the riddles of Stonehenge. But this is just the beginning. Zlobin knows how to get other, fundamentally new data. But his own forces and funds are no longer enough for such an extensive work: it is necessary to process huge amounts of information, an expedition to Stonehenge is needed for additional excavations and measurements at certain points in the area. The task is complex. Only a solid international organization can solve it.
For my part, I will do my best to help the Russian scientist. I have already talked with Zachary Sitchin, about whom I have repeatedly told newspaper readers. Sitchin himself recently published the Stonehenge book. I am talking about Zlobin and the producers of documentaries about Russian anomalous phenomena.
The game is worth the candle. Zlobin picked up a "mathematical key" for Stonehenge. To "turn" it, Zlobin needs at least computers - powerful and fast. Such computers exist, such computers were created under the SDI program in the United States.
