The popular Taiwanese ufologist and conspiracy theorist Scott Waring examined images of the Martian South Pole on the official website of the American National Space Agency, obtained on April 13, 2004 by the unmanned research station Mars Global Surveyor, and found something in one image that he said was striking. On one of the sites of the Red Planet, the probe captured an incomprehensible dense cluster of certain objects, very similar in shape to letters.
NASA experts will probably say that some carbon dioxide is to blame, which has frozen at the south pole of Mars and acquired such an amazing structure. However, Scott is not going to trust the scientists. According to the ufologist, carbon dioxide ice cannot have such an even and symmetrical appearance. Waring suggests that we are talking about futuristic structures, once erected on a distant celestial body by representatives of an advanced extraterrestrial civilization.
Many alternative researchers believe that in this way scientists lull our vigilance, distracting us from the realities of our "cosmic reality", which is much more complex than ordinary people imagine. For example, there is a theory that NASA scientists know about Mars, the Moon, our solar system and the universe in general such things that we never dreamed of. But they cannot tell the whole truth to the general public, because otherwise it would be necessary to revise our entire academic science.
But on the other hand, when you observe how the Americans are trying to launch a manned spacecraft to the ISS today and suffer a serious accident, which is why Elon Musk is even ready to invite Russian experts to identify its cause, then this helplessness of NASA does not in any way fit with conspiracy theories about some global American knowledge about space and the Universe.
