Brian Vicka, director of the Canadian Center for UFO Research, spoke about a flying saucer that hung motionless over Vancouver in the summer of 2002.

A huge black oval-shaped object resembling a rugby ball hovers 500 meters above Central Park, located in the center of the city at the intersection of Highway 1 and Boundary Road.

It was in the middle of the day when Brian was walking down Willingdon Avenue and noticed a crowd of people pouring out of their cars onto the side of the road and looking in one direction, among whom he noticed several police officers. They all looked at the black disc, which did not look like a kite or a balloon, since it was completely independent of the movement of the wind.

“Perhaps,” Brian suggested, “if you look at it under another, it could have been in the shape of a circle. But it seemed to me that it looked like a hole in a round pipe."

Brian hurried home, hoping to hear that the event related to the strange UFO was being discussed on the radio, but he did not hear anything. Not a word was said on the evening 6 o'clock news.

“I live in a high-rise building and my windows face east, just in the direction of Central Park. I took the binoculars, but I saw nothing. Then I thought it might be a flat object, and from my new point of view, it might look like a thin line if it was still hanging there."

Brian's wife Wick, who was at the same time on Tyne Street, west of Central Park, also saw this black UFO.
