Artificial intelligence is already used in many areas, from small calculations to developments in the field of medicine and space exploration. And recently, a group of researchers at MIT trained AI to develop new recipes for making pizza. And they want to "hire" this AI to work in one of Boston's pizzerias.
And in the course of research, the open source neural network textgnrnn was taught new tricks, which was originally aimed at generating phrases on a specific topic based on existing texts. In this case, we used pizza recipes from books and culinary blogs, which were provided to be torn apart by the neural network. After analyzing the information, textgnrnn created its own unique product combinations and introduced new dishes.
After that, the chefs of the Crush Pizza pizzeria were entrusted to check the resulting recipes. As a result, not all recipes turned out to be edible, and some could not even exist in reality. How do you like ingredients like sliced caramel cheese and walnut dressing, for example? In addition, the AI chef sometimes forgot to add sauces. But there were also successful options that can rather be attributed to fusion-style cuisine (a combination of, for example, spinach, peach and cranberries in pizza may seem strange to many), but they turned out to be quite edible and tasty.
Best of all, the AI turned out, according to experts at Crush Pizza, a combination of shrimp, jam and Italian sausages. They want to include this pizza in the main menu, as well as some others, slightly perfected by local chefs.
