In Norway, they are racking their brains over a strange crime that happened 240 kilometers north of Oslo. Four sheep disappeared from one of the fields.
After some time, they showed up 80 kilometers from the original grazing site - in a parking lot in front of a shopping center in Lillehammer.
Maybe the sheep teleported?
The animals were identified by identification tags, writes The Local. The statement about the loss of the sheep was filed with the police by their owner, farmer Stolé Rowen.
“I'm shocked that someone did this,” he said in an interview with Norwegian media. "I can understand that some people are annoyed by the sheep grazing near their property, but I never imagined that something like this is possible."
According to the farmer, a mysterious kidnapper lured the sheep into a car and took them to Lillehammer under cover of night. The police are trying to figure out how to qualify such a strange crime.
“This is a very unusual case,” Trygve Ulset of the Gudbrandsdal County Police said in an interview with the Norwegian newspaper GD. - This case should be considered within the framework of the criminal code, but I do not know under which article. We must study this issue."

During the kidnapping, not a single sheep was hurt. They were returned to the owner safe and sound and are already nibbling the grass again in the place from which they were recently abducted by the mysterious "sheep stealers".
