The husband and wife and their two children from Queen Creek, Arizona (USA) are officially transsexual.
So far, none of them have done gender reassignment surgery for themselves, but they have already changed their gender roles to opposite ones.
The 41-year-old woman and mother of two children named Harrott has always felt like a man and recently began calling herself Daniel. It all started a year ago, when her 13-year-old son Joshua also announced his gender change and decided to become a girl.
Then 11-year-old Mason did the same, becoming a boy.
And then Daniel Harrott met 61-year-old Shirley Austin, who was a former man, and they decided to get married.
Each of the four members of the Harrott family is convinced that they were not born in their own body and that they are now finally who they were originally supposed to be. The conviction of this grew in them every year until the official recognition.
Joshua has grown long hair, and although he is able to move in a wheelchair due to illness, he is confident that he is feeling much better now, because he no longer has to pretend.

According to Daniel Harrott, this was most likely passed on to the children due to genetics, since his grandmother's sister also had gender problems and was a transvestite. At the same time, she was very strict with her daughter and constantly pressed on her, convincing her to be very feminine and splashing out her psychological problems on her.

When Joshua became a girl, Mason stated that she always wanted to be a boy. She cut her hair short and began to wear clothes for boys. Seeing that his children were bolder than himself, Harrott began calling himself Daniel and also completely changed his appearance and bought different clothes.
Only after that Daniel Harrott realized that this is exactly what he had long wanted. He looked at himself in the mirror and realized that this was his true appearance.
Harroth later volunteered for an organization to support the parents of transgender children and met Shirley Austin, who was previously a man but now considers herself a woman. They fell in love with each other and decided to live as one family.
