The unusual incident was reported by the Finnish media. There, a large fish fell on the roof of one of the country houses. The blow was so strong that it even broke through the roof tiles.

“Last weekend I was at a dacha in Sastamala when I heard a thud from the kitchen. Looking out the window, I saw something fall from the roof. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a two-kilogram bream, which smashed the tiles on the roof with a crash and rolled down,”the owner of the house told Radio Suomi.

However, experts did not find anything particularly unusual in this - according to them, this happens all the time in Finland. Of course, as the ichthyologist Ari Saura rightly noted, "bream cannot fly, despite their large pectoral fins, which they willingly move."

However, most likely, the osprey bird of prey dropped the bream. Apparently, out of greed, she coveted too large a prey, reports the Karelian Internet newspaper Stolitsa na Onego.

Experts suggested that the osprey flew with a fish in its claws, but could not hold it, and the bream fell from the sky right onto the roof of the house.
