Seven-month-old Japanese girl Chanko became famous on the Internet for her abnormally thick hair for an infant and became a model in a Pantene advertisement. Fox News reports.
Chanko starred in a commercial when she was one year old after her mother, Mami Kano, started posting photos of her daughter on Instagram. Netizens admired the girl's appearance. For several months, more than 309 thousand subscribers have appeared in the account.
The child is featured in a new Pantene ad alongside Japanese TV presenter Sato Kondo, famous for her naturally gray hair. “We reached out to the mother of the baby because Chanko's personality and unique character matches our customers' image,” said Yoshiaki Okura, spokesman for diversified corporation Procter & Gamble.
Kano claims that the girl was immediately born with thick hair and with age, it will become even thicker and longer. “I want my daughter's hair to be long. In the future, I plan to try new hairstyles, for example, pigtails,”she said.
In August 2018, five-year-old Tel Aviv resident Mia Aflalo also became famous on social networks for her abnormally thick hair for her age. Aflalo has already starred for the British fashion magazine Vogue, after which she became especially popular on Instagram.
