In Italy, a real scandal erupted around scientific publications telling about the dangers of genetically modified foods. Some experts believe that the data provided by the authors of the articles is falsification.

The day before, publications began to appear in scientific publications in Italy, revealing the harm of GMO products. The author of the project was the veterinary specialist Federico Infacelli and his colleagues from the University of Naples. Experts presented the results of an experiment conducted on goats. Pregnant females were fed with grown genetically modified foods. After giving birth, their offspring, along with their mother's milk, also received foreign genes. Subsequently, this had a negative impact on the development of the kids. At the same time, studies with transgenic soy, which was given to goats, demonstrate completely opposite data.

Rumors of an investigation into the matter have surfaced in the Italian media. The media note that evidence has already been found that the materials and information in the publication are intentionally distorted and falsified. There are no final conclusions from the investigation yet, but a number of publications have already withdrawn the article.
