In the spring of 1954, George King (1919-1997), a resident of London, was somewhat surprised. Suddenly a voice spoke to him from nowhere, which said: “Get ready. You will become the voice of the Interplanetary Parliament”. (He later found out that the Interplanetary Parliament is the highest governing body that meets regularly on Saturn.)
About a week after the first message, an oriental yogi approached King's bed (he walked through the closed door), confirmed that he was indeed elected as a representative of the Cosmic Masters, and began teaching King to contact them. So a few months later, King found himself in direct contact with the Overlord, whose codename was "Aetherius who dwells on Venus."
At the beginning of 1955, King held the first meeting at Caxton Hall in London in order to publicize the teachings of Ethereus: he could go into a trance and directly convey to the listeners the words spoken by the Lord himself. Soon, in 1956, the Etherean Society was founded (a branch in the USA was established in 1960). After that, King and his followers began to cooperate with Aetherius and other Cosmic Lords, performing bizarre manipulations, the purpose of which was to protect the Earth from all misfortunes.
They can be seen as diagnostic symptoms that betray the true nature of Aethyrian society, hidden behind the mask of interplanetary jargon: members of the society meet often enough to strengthen their followers in the illusion that the loss of faith can be dangerous and will lead to dire consequences. They are in a state of constant tense contact with the Cosmic Lords and therefore are not available for constructive dialogue, so to any skeptical question why nothing is still known about all these terrible threats, they answer that this only shows how effective they actually are. In short, there are all the signs of pseudo-religion, with the exception of one: it seems that the "Ethereans", to their credit, are not particularly interested in financial enrichment at the expense of gullible converts.
When King was knighted by the Sovereign Military Order of Saint John of Jerusalem and the Knights of Malta, he naturally became Sir George King. King was also a guide for other voices from space: his favorite characters were Jesus Christ, Saint Peter, Buddha and a Martian scientist named "Mars Sector 6". It was "Mars, Sector 6" through King who led the society's motto: "Service is a jewel in the stone of achievement."

Members of the Aethyrian Society were convinced that UFOs are ships from other planets in the solar system, in particular from Venus and Mars. Although life on those planets takes place in a utopian society, and their inhabitants, as can be seen from the Cosmic Masters, are wise and kind, the Earth is on the razor's edge: it is pulled here and there by the forces of Good and the forces of Evil, equal in strength, but essentially opposite, and a fierce war is being waged between them, not only within the solar system, but throughout space.
The Cosmic Masters intend to bring the yogic life force - prana - to Earth to help us stay on the side of the forces of Good. Members of the Aethyrian Society can help with this through shared “spiritual impulses” and the power of prayer. According to the latter idea, prayer can be used to generate spiritual energy; then the energy is placed in a physical container - a bottle or any other object is suitable for this, but such large objects as mountains can be used as containers.
Then spiritual energy in such a concentrated form can be released to prevent disasters, or at least to weaken them. And we are not necessarily talking about such ordinary disasters as earthquakes: the combined efforts of the Aethyrian society and the Space Masters saved us from total annihilation several times, including the potentially disastrous pole change that could have occurred in the early 1970s.
UFO Scientology aside, one of the most influential UFO religions on an international scale is Raelism, with an official number of supporters approaching 50,000 worldwide (according to some estimates, the actual number of participants is half that).
The international Raelite movement (as it is officially called) originated in 1973, when the journalist Claude Vorillon (b. 1946), now known as Rael, instantly realized that instead of going to work in his office in the town of Clermont-Ferrand in France, you need to be on the extinct volcano Puy de Lassol; he went there and met a green-skinned humanoid from a flying saucer there.
The newcomer, 1.5 meters tall, that morning and in the mornings for the next five days, briefly told him that he must tell the world the Truth: large chunks in the Bible were completely misunderstood - especially with regard to the use of the word "Elohim" in Genesis, which does not mean "God", but "those who came from heaven", that is, cosmic beings. It was the Elohim, not God, who created life on Earth, and all the most famous prophets in the world were the messengers of the Elohim, not God, and the last in this chain of prophets is Rael, and for some reason he is the first who must fix everything.
The prophets, including Rael, were Nephelin, born of a marriage between an Elohim father and a human mother, as mentioned in Genesis. The Elohim, the alien explained, want to return to Earth and share their advanced technology with us, but they won't do that until an embassy is built for them in Jerusalem and world peace is established. They need this embassy because if they land elsewhere on the planet, they may appear to prefer one non-Elist religion or ideology over another.
'Rael somehow very quickly told the world everything that was required of him, independently publishing the first of several books - "Le Livre que Dit la Verite" ("Message transmitted by aliens") in 1974. He also began collecting money for the construction of an embassy in Jerusalem, but faced a problem that has not yet been resolved: the Israeli authorities do not issue building permits. In particular, this may be due to the fact that the original symbol of the Raelite movement was the swastika with the Star of David; in 1991 the symbol was changed to the Star of David and a spiral galaxy, but the Israelis still resist.
The homeland of the Elohim is a distant planet. Long ago, the genetic and microbiological technologies of their civilization reached a high level, and now the Elohim can create life from DNA. They were looking for another planet on which they could conduct their genetic experiments in isolation from other worlds, and found a young Earth. They built laboratories on the site where Israel and Palestine are now, and in this "garden of Eden" they created plants, animals and finally people.
Initially, people were allowed to live in a laboratory environment, but they turned out to be aggressive, prone to destruction, and therefore they were expelled from there. Although the Elohim have intermarried with humans from time to time since then to give birth to prophets, for the most part we were on our own, and the Elohim simply watched us.
However, we have now entered the age of the Apocalypse, the beginning of which was marked by various events such as the dropping of the hydrogen bomb, the creation of the State of Israel and the development of global telecommunications (a time when we can “send our voices overseas”). Soon, when genetics develops to the point where it can create life from inert matter, the last piece of the mosaic of our apocalyptic age will fall into place: we will finally be advanced enough to correctly understand our origins.
According to the Raelians, God is not a person, but an infinite, eternal and omnipresent being, a kind of universal presence. There is no other life: the soul is identified with the life of a person; however, one can live forever through the rebirth of a person from DNA. Life and reality exist on an infinite level: the Earth is just an atom of a huge being living on a huge planet, which in turn is just an atom of an even larger being, etc.; the same principle works in the opposite direction: the worlds and their inhabitants are getting smaller and smaller.
Raelites of South Korea
Diffuse promotes the benefits of human cloning, especially as a way for infertile and homosexual couples to have children. In this regard, in 1997, the Raelite movement founded Valian Venture Ltd, which conducts research on human cloning and provides services to couples wishing to clone their offspring under a project called Clonaid for US $ 200,000.
Another service, which is clear from the name, is "clonopet" ("clonopet"). In the late 1990s, the Raelite movement made a determined attempt to hire Dr. Richard Seed, who was part of a group of scientists who cloned Dolly the sheep.
In December 2002, Klonopet's chief executive, Brigitte Boisselier, announced that the company had cloned a human child - a girl named Eve; in January 2003, Boisselier announced that a second cloned child had been born, and later that several more children would soon be born in different parts of the planet. Of course, these statements became a worldwide sensation, but no further information about this was received (nor was there evidence in the form of DNA samples); this can be explained by the fact that Bouselier was imprisoned for violating the laws of different countries that prohibit human cloning.
The Raelite movement focuses on cloning not only for mercantile reasons, but also out of a sense of religious duty, because, according to their dogmas, only through cloning can people gain eternal life and thus become one of the Elohim.
In 1975 Marshall Herf Applewhite (1931-1997) and Bonnie Lou Truesdale Nettles (1927-1985), also known as Bo and Peep, respectively, or from about 1976 as Do and C (by the names of musical notes), or as Two, announced that they flew to Earth in UFOs from the "superhuman level" and they will return to this level in a few months, taking with them those lucky ones who will prepare and join the "process." There was only a small condition: if you wanted to join, you had to give up all earthly goods and worldly life.
Marshall Herf Applewhite
Due to the demand to reject earthly goods and existing relationships, including his family, the UFO sect "Heaven's Gate", founded by the Two and later renamed "Total Overcomers Anonymous", did not reach a large scale, and its numbers supporters are, according to the highest estimates, only a few hundred people; Another obstacle for converts may have been that months and years passed without signs of the promised ascent.
The death of C (Truesdale) in 1985 from liver cancer may also have caused some students to question the extraterrestrial origins and immortality of their leaders.
That all changed in March 1997 when the hour of reckoning came. At the time, Applewhite was living in a multi-billion dollar mansion outside San Diego, California. In this mansion, he and 38 followers of the "Heavenly Gate" were found dead: they committed group suicide after drinking a cocktail of barbiturates and vodka. According to another version, they did not commit suicide, but separated from physical bodies in order to move to a higher level.
This conviction was fueled in them by the fact that Comet Hale-Bopp was visible in the skies, which, according to Applewhite, was a delayed signal from aliens that the time had come. Another motivation was the urban legend that a spaceship was seen in the tail of a comet; on that ship, Applewhite seemed to believe, Truesdale returned for him and their followers.
In a video that Applewhite recorded before group suicide, he stated, "In truth, we all hate this world." In prosaic terms, he and Truesdale created a reality that was comfortable for themselves - a reality that had little to do with the one most of us exist in - and then successfully brainwashed other people into accepting that reality.
As real and fictional realities increasingly contradicted each other, fictional reality became increasingly untenable. The believers had only two options: either to shake off the obsession and leave the group, or to get away from the understanding that they had lost everything, including most of their lives, in the name of sheer nonsense. Thirty-eight believers and Applewhite chose the second option.
