American Rone Joseph from California, has filed a lawsuit against NASA to investigate a mysterious "wandering rock" that appeared out of nowhere in front of the Curiosity rover late last month.

As Joseph stated after carefully studying the images taken by the rover and sent to Earth, the "wandering stone" may be nothing more than a growing organism. According to the Californian, he has repeatedly asked experts from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (LJP) in Pasadena to organize the Curiosity rover to shoot the "rock" in high resolution mode, using different angles, and to take samples for analysis. However, all attempts to achieve something until they were successful.

Now Joseph decided through the courts to obtain from NASA a more thorough study of the mysterious find, and also make the materials of this case publicly available. Otherwise, he believes that such actions on the part of the space agency are reckless and careless.

To confirm his theory, Joseph suggests looking at two images from the Curiosity rover, one day apart, Martian time. They, according to him, allow you to see first the very origin, and then the appearance of a full-fledged bowl-shaped mushroom.

At the same time, the American asks to confirm the authorship of this discovery, if his guesses turn out to be true. However, scientists do not agree with this theory, believing that this is just an ordinary stone that the rover randomly threw during movement or a fragment of a meteorite.
