The science of petrology is full of doubts and difficulties in the systematization of minerals. Many statements remain controversial and require proof; the main mantle processes have not been studied.
If scientists doubt whether the mantle was once in a molten state and do not know what is under tectonic plates, then why not assume that granite did not go through the magmatic stage, never was hot magma.
At the same time, granite is undoubtedly a deep rock and is formed in the zones of collision of continental plates.

- The division of rocks into igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary is not always obvious.
- Mantle rocks stand separately. On the one hand, the conditions in the mantle are such that even if the rock was originally magmatic, it would still undergo changes in the mantle. In general, for the bulk of the mantle, it remains a debatable question whether it was once in a molten state. On the other hand, in mineralogy, mantle rocks are largely identical to igneous rocks. Therefore, the nomenclature of igneous rocks with variations is applied to them.
- Supporters of the idea of the emergence of granitoid rocks of batholiths in the process of metasomatic granitization consider granite batholiths not magmatic, but metamorphic bodies arising as a result of the replacement of pre-existing rocks by rocks of a granite nature without passing through the magmatic stage.

- In nature, the processes of metamorphism are widespread, in which not only a change in the mineral composition, texture and structure of the primary rock occurs, but also a significant change in its chemical composition. This metamorphic process has received its own name metasomatism. In metasomatism, in contrast to metamorphism, fluids are of great importance. The explanation of the metasomatic process and the use of the term were first formulated by K. F. Naumann, later the concept of metasomatism was developed by A. A. Inostrantsev, V. M. Goldschmidt
- Isolation of granitization products requires convincing evidence in favor of: a) formation of granitoids in situ; b) the formation of granitoids as a result of one or another petrogenetic process or a set of processes (Niggli, 1949; Paffengolts, 1970; Reed, 1950; Rudnik, Alekseev, 1963, etc.)
- The absence of signs of igneous rocks indicates that igneous rock is a simulacrum in natural science.
That is, some scientists, apparently, are also not satisfied with the theory of the magmatic origin of granite, and they think in the right direction, using terms such as "fluids", "petrogenetic process", which alternativeists cannot think of:)
The alternatives are, rather, petrographers, from the words "I see a stone" - "I write."
They see the red-hot magma and understand that nothing can be done from it, because the magma quickly cools and crystallizes.
A mud volcano is also a common occurrence in our century. The largest mud volcanoes are 10 km in diameter and 700 m high.
