Water is the most essential liquid for our existence. And it's not just that we are more than two-thirds water. The first life was born in water, and, as a result, it was water that was the basis on which the metabolism of all living creatures that live, or have ever lived, on Earth was built.

A person can live without food for several months, and without water - only a few days. But, water is not just a universal solvent and a way of delivering all kinds of nutrients to the cells of our body. Every year, new research by scientists reveal to us new and new secrets of this truly magical liquid.

From the point of view of chemistry, water is a very simple substance, but behind this screen of simplicity there are many mysteries and secrets. Despite the fact that many researchers have devoted their lives to its study, it has not yet been fully studied. In the scientific world there is an opinion that our life is a permanent struggle for water.

Since ancient times, mankind has divided water into "living" and "dead". Each of them was attributed to its own specific properties, subsequently rejected by science, as not corresponding to reality. And only recently they returned to the question; this was due primarily to the development of physics and biology.

For example, it turned out that hydrogen has three isotopes that differ in the number of neutrons - ordinary hydrogen without neutrons, deuterium and tritium (with one and two neutrons, respectively). Water containing deuterium was called heavy water, and water with tritium was called superheavy. Despite the fact that there are very few of these types of water, they have a negative impact on humans. So heavy water slows down cell growth and accelerates aging. Drinking heavy water does not quench your thirst. And super-heavy water is generally radioactive.

In addition, if water is subjected to electrolysis under certain conditions, it separates into two different liquids, differing in acidity or pH. Dead water has an acidic environment, and therefore has a pronounced antibacterial and disinfectant effect. It can be used to heal purulent wounds and skin diseases. Living water has an alkaline environment and can act as a biostimulator. Its effect leads to the stimulation of cell growth, an increase in the body's immunity and the acceleration of the excretion of metabolic products from it. Despite the apparent "neutrality", both of these types of water are potent reagents and their use should be based on certain experience and carried out with all the necessary safety measures.

There are many theories that water is not just a liquid, it is a huge memory matrix that stores information about all the events that happened to it over time. The explanation for this phenomenon should be sought in the properties of water to bind its own molecules with each other through the so-called hydrogen bonds. Some scientists put forward the opinion that water contains not just two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, but in fact, water is a polymer consisting of several tens or hundreds of H2O molecules. These macromolecules, due to their electrical and magnetic properties, are able to interact with fields and accumulate certain information.

At a higher level, water is a complex hierarchical structure that includes thousands of macromolecules and their behavior can depend on a variety of factors. For example, one of such levels is a water cell, consisting of about forty-five thousand water molecules, which reacts to the concentration of certain amino acids in the cell of a living organism, and the reaction to the same acids is the same in almost all organisms. Who knows, perhaps the transmission of information in our body has not only electrical or synoptic structures, but also "water"? Numerous experiments continue, and no one looks at scientists who deal with water as charlatans - their methods are quite scientific and have practical value.

In any case, it is worth paying close attention to the quality of the water we use. Also, according to the water content in the human body, one can judge his age; here water acts as an "aging indicator". Children under one year old have the highest concentration of water in their bodies - up to 85%. Upon reaching the age of majority, this percentage decreases to 65%, and in old age drops to 20%.

Hence, it follows that the introduction of high-quality water into the body in the required quantities normalizes metabolism and prolongs youth. Water quality directly affects the quality of life.

With the beginning of the industrial era, the problem of clean water became particularly acute. Industrial waste, discharged into water bodies without any filtration, significantly worsens not only the ecological situation, but also has a very negative effect on the quality of life of the population. There are four classes of water according to the degree of pollution. The first, the cleanest, currently includes no more than 2% of water, and the 4th - the dirtiest, as much as 20%.

Despite the relatively recent measures taken by the government to regulate industrial emissions, the situation is still far from perfect. Backward countries, trying to catch up with the more industrialized ones, do not care what they do with the environment. Every year, more than sixty thousand square kilometers of land turn into a desert, and from clean and relatively clean water, about 150 billion tons of water go into the category of "dirty". Such an uncontrolled approach to land and water resources will lead to serious demographic problems in fifty years.

Humanity needs to think about the fact that our home - the Earth requires a revision of such a barbaric attitude towards it, first of all, towards water. Plants, after all, can be grown without soil, but without water, life is impossible in any form.
