During the search for diamonds in West Africa in the city of Sierra Leone, very unusual figurines were discovered at a depth of 50 meters. They are figurines of people, but with some distinctive features: sharp teeth, bulging eyes and scaly skin.
The figurines found are relatively small - about 40 cm high. Judging by the analysis of the geological layers in which they were discovered, their age ranges from 5 to 17 thousand years. According to the ancient myths and legends of Africa, there used to be a race of angels in heaven, who were then sent to Earth for violating the laws of God. African figurines have become a symbol of those times and depict the creatures that God sent to Earth.
Archaeologists and ethnologists have put forward many versions regarding the origin of these statues, but none of them has been scientifically confirmed. Also, scientists find it difficult to answer who exactly the ancient people tried to portray. Could these be representatives of an extinct race, or were they aliens from other worlds? There is still no definite answer to this question.
