Events and stories that cannot be explained are called miracles, mysticism. They are trying to study, prove, based on the achievements of modern science and technology, but this is not always possible. Gradually, they begin to acquire new details, and it becomes more difficult to get to the bottom of the truth, and sometimes it is simply impossible. Who knows, maybe after some time all the strange events that have occurred in the world will be explained from a scientific point of view, but for now only hypotheses and assumptions are put forward.
The mysterious disappearance of the sailing ship "Marlboro"
This strange story, which began in 1890, is more than a century old. Until now, she has not received an explanation.
Prior to its last voyage, the Marlboro (sailing ship) made flights from Glasgow to New Zealand more than once, taking settlers there, and brought back wool, bananas and meat. The journey took about 75 days and, thanks to good equipment, well-coordinated work of the crew under the guidance of an experienced captain, everything always ended without incident.
As usual, taking on board a crew of 30 people (so many were always recruited into the crew, without changing the number due to superstitions), filling the holds with mutton and wool, the ship on January 21, 1890 left New Zealand home, to Britain. By the due time, the ship did not return to the port, but the alarms had not yet been sounded - anything could happen on the way.
Later, restoring the events, we found out that two days later he was seen from the side of a ship passing by, heading towards the New Zealand port. Nobody else saw the sailboat, and there were no rumors about it. After an unsuccessful search, he was declared missing.

Gradually the story began to be forgotten, but in 1913, near the shores of Tierra del Fuego, the crew of the merchant ship "Johnson" discovered a pretty shabby and moldy sailboat. It was the Marlboro. Climbing aboard, the sailors found 20 half-rotted bodies of crew members and a complete absence of traces of cargo in the holds. There were no signs of struggle, no incomprehensible actions were found.
It was not possible for "Johnson" to tow the sailboat to the bay, therefore, having reported the find to the shipping company, the team moved on. What about a sailboat? The sailboat disappeared without a trace, leaving many questions: where did the 10 crew members and all the cargo go, what happened if there are no traces of the attack, where it disappeared for 23 years and remained intact without being damaged by storms and reefs? There are questions, but the answers to them probably will not be received.
The mystical disappearance of Chinese soldiers
During the war between China and Japan, a strange event took place, which until now has not been explained. At one time it made a lot of noise, but gradually they began to forget about it, and now it is classified as a mystical phenomenon that cannot be solved.
In 1937, when the danger of the capture of the city of Nanjing by the Japanese army arose, the order was given to take up defensive positions near the bridge over the river. 2998 soldiers of the Chinese army were sent to carry out this task. The next day, when the report on the execution of the order was to come, no information was received.
To clarify the situation, a special military command was sent to the scene, but it returned with nothing - not a single living soul was found in the positions. Weapons and provisions were in place, there were no traces of capture or signs of any movement of the soldiers. Residents of the surrounding villages did not hear any noise from the other side and did not notice any mysterious phenomena. The impression was that almost three thousand people disappeared into nowhere.
Guesses and assumptions about the disappearance of the soldiers are different: desertion, the intervention of an alien mind, a transition to another time, an attack by the Japanese. But if we accept the version of desertion, then in the future, the fact that such a number of soldiers appeared somewhere would still raise questions, and it is impossible to hide the traces of movement. Also, the assumption of a surprise attack is also unfounded, since there are no signs of a struggle on the positions.
So this unusual event fell into the number of mystical and incredible stories in the world.
Strange rubber blocks
There is no explanation for the fact that large rectangular rubber plates with rounded edges have appeared over the past 30 years. All have the same inscription - "TJIPETIR", denoting the name of a company from Indonesia, which was engaged in the production of rubber at the beginning of the 20th century.

- plane (1970), on board which was Bruce Gernon, his father and friend, went from the Bahamas to the USA (Florida) and on the way flew through a strange semicircular cloud, inside of which there were some flashes, and passengers at that time felt feeling of weightlessness, the instruments did not work well, the flight instead of 1 h 15 min was only 45 min;
- at the bottom of the ocean in the Bermuda Triangle, the crew of an American nuclear submarine discovered the ruins of an ancient metropolis, which, according to scientists, are part of Atlantis;
- in the sky above the triangle in 2009, an unusual phenomenon was recorded that lasted one hour - lights of unknown origin and the formation of a large whirlpool;
- in the Bermuda Triangle, about a hundred ships disappeared, about which nothing is known.
Rat raids in India
In the northern part of India, with an interval of 48 years, a strange event from the point of view of an ignorant layman occurs, which is not observed anywhere else in the world - the territory of the Mizoram region is filled with a horde of millions of rats, sweeping away plantings in the fields and vegetable gardens on its way.
Since the event does not occur so often and modern scientists did not have to observe it, they were skeptical about the stories passed from mouth to mouth about an unusual phenomenon. Another event happened in 2008 and managed to find a scientific explanation for it.
It turns out that the raids are related to the bamboo forest, which covers a large area - 259 km². When the bamboo fades, a tasty and juicy fruit is formed, which rats like to feast on, and the plant itself dies.
