The motor ship "Latvia" made the last navigation voyage in 1991 along the Yenisei. There were not many passengers, but there were almost a hundred.
One morning, a UFO appeared and hovered over a mighty river liner. It was about ten o'clock, the weather was calm, sunny, but cool: water and taiga breathed in the coming winter.
The news of the UFO spread through the cabins with lightning speed. Soon everyone was on the upper deck, passengers and crew alike.
The first mate who was resting that morning came out with a Japanese two-cassette tape recorder on the radio: they were broadcasting something like "Good morning." But no one paid attention to either the humorous transmission, which the whole country loved, or to the weather: their eyes were fixed on the outlandish flying machine hovering overhead. The sun reflected from its silvery sides.
At some point, the radio transmission was interrupted, and an alien inhuman voice came from the speaker of the tape recorder. What he said was not entirely clear. Rather, it is completely incomprehensible: the voice was broadcasting in German.
It is difficult to recover who was the first to guess that the dynamics sounds nothing more and nothing less than an appeal to the people on deck, the author of which was, apparently, the enlonauts. Some of the passengers began to shout - there, on the "plate", that they did not understand what the voice was saying.
Then the following happened.
The first mate suddenly, unexpectedly and in the strongest way … fell asleep! He fell into the hands of passengers and crew. Someone moved the trestle bed or chaise longue left over from the summer, which continued to stick out on the upper deck, and the sleeper was laid on the trestle bed. And from that moment on, he began broadcasting after the radio voice. It was felt that the chief executive was retaining the intonation and pathos of the spoken. It is only surprising that he did this while in a deep sleep …

And the content of the speech transmitted by the enlonauts through the chief officer was specific. As far as we know, such information comes to us only from the so-called contactees (without quotes), whom neither ufologists, nor psychics, nor astrophysicists (all the more so) do not particularly like. In the last decade, there were only a few contactees (including, perhaps, the famous Casey), so many divorced that it kind of discredited the very concept of contacteeship. The word "contact?" now almost abusive.
The "editorial" was, like all "contactees", that earthlings are destroying themselves, that many weapons of mass destruction have been accumulated on Earth, that a person is unpredictable and that he needs to radically change his attitude towards himself yourself and the planet inhabited by it.
But then there was just that, specific. Then the first mate said in a strange voice that the earthlings were in danger of death. In order for this not to happen, they need to … become vegetarians. Moreover, it is desirable to do it immediately! There is no time for buildup, because in less than two months the first stage of “culling” the “wrong” population will come. Culling will go on a massive scale, only those who live in truth and do not eat meat will save their lives. However, there is an exception for the “pure” but consuming people: they are given a different term - by December 1, 1993, they must reorganize to exclusively plant products. From December 1, 1993, it will not even be possible to eat cow's butter and milk, as well as eat eggs. The fifth civilization, which ceases "for technical reasons", is gradually being replaced by the sixth - herbivore. The last stage of this process will begin on October 1, 1995 and will last until 2003, when, due to the continuous ozone "hole" on the Earth, many irreversible processes will begin, which will entail (after a series of global catastrophes) not only the death of most of humanity, but also change of poles, outlines of continents and other cataclysms.
At the same time, in addition to catastrophic changes in the appearance of the planet, the Earth's atmosphere will also be renewed. Its composition will be somewhat different than under the Fifth civilization (initially different, and not as a result of human activity). From 2008 to 2012, the ozone layer will gradually recover, protecting all living things from the bactericidal ultraviolet radiation of the Sun and space (for information, the lethal wavelength is 291 nanometers). Then the official beginning will come, the "discovery" of the life span of the Sixth Earth civilization.
Of those people who live now (1991), few people will be able to cross the line separating the Fifth Civilization from the Sixth. But everything is in the hands of the people themselves. It is enough to stop sinning and eat according to the proposed program. Despite this historic warning, you will not (the voice spoke) follow the advice given to you and thereby sign your own judgment. It is impossible to fix you.
That is why the "white race", which is the author of Humanity (allegedly at the direction of God), came to the conclusion that the incorrigible "sick bed" - unsuccessful sowing - should be thoroughly thinned out, destroying most of the unusable individuals, which are nothing more than space weeds. The "white race", which for many millennia has closely followed the development of the earth's population, makes the last attempt to achieve the desired result and for the last time "ennobles" Mankind, planting the Sixth Civilization. The “white race” refuses to bear further responsibility for the development of the Earth as a planet of reason.
Then, in 1991, still very Soviet people on the deck listened with amazement to what the sleeping chief officer was broadcasting in a false name. And of course, they didn’t believe in anything like that, even though a political coup had just happened in Moscow. Rather, it just came true: the "invincible" CPSU was defeated overnight.
Despite the incredible information, some asked the "plate", looking at the sky:
- Is there a God?..
Of course there is a God, said the senior officer. But He is not what the earthlings imagine Him to be. God has two forces - the same "white race" and "black race", which are at war with each other. We are representatives of the "black race". That is why we warn you about the danger: we believe that the Fifth civilization of the Earth has not exhausted its capabilities, and we are trying to help you to be saved. It won't be easy. Because you do not heed anyone's advice and do your own thing. Listen to what is being said to you now, and convey to all earthlings: it is necessary to strictly follow the recommendations that we gave you.
- How do we become herbivores? After all, you can't change us: physically we are what we are …
Anything is possible, the voice said. Until 2003, you must do what we said. Starting in 2003, structural changes will begin in your body - like mutations. Such mutations have occurred and are occurring in your children. You can see for yourself that children born after January 1, 1986 are not at all like you. These are the representatives of the new Humanity that is coming. They are not yet very pronounced, but they will gradually develop abilities and properties that you did not have. But a child born on December 31, 1985 is still a representative of the Fifth Civilization, so strict and attentive control is necessary for him. Do it!
The tape recorder fell silent (it went out completely because its batteries were dead). The first mate "woke up".
Among the passengers there was someone with a player, and he did not from the very beginning, but quite a lot of what the senior officer was broadcasting, recorded on tape.
The first mate who woke up found it difficult to believe what those on deck told him. He only believed the captain, who confirmed that everything they told him was the purest truth.
- But I don't know German! - exclaimed the first mate in the greatest surprise.
Nevertheless, it was he who spoke for almost an hour and a half, no one had any doubts about that. There was no doubt that the text pronounced by the sleeping person was a literal translation from the voice that sounded in the dynamics of the tape recorder.
The “dish”, having made a gentle turn over the ship, as if saying goodbye, slowly went east, and then flashed in the sun and disappeared.
This story reached one of the authors only in the fall of 1993. And he realized that he had found an explanation for the strange coming into his body of asthma. I went to bed - there was no trace of her, but woke up at about two in the morning with a severe asthmatic attack (by the way, thinking that it was a simple pneumonia). And he remembered that the changes in his body, which made him an incurable asthmatic, occurred on the very night when the first stage of the destruction of the Fifth Civilization began on Earth: on the night of September 30 to October 1, 1991.
