There are more than enough white spots in the theory of the origin of man on our planet, and if not so long ago Darwin's theory was recognized as the only correct one, now more and more scientists are inclined to think that man is not an indigenous inhabitant of this planet, but the result of some genetic experiments that conducted by representatives of highly developed civilizations.
On top of that, experts tend to think that the geologically inactive Red Planet (Mars) was once inhabited by living things, which then colonized the Earth. Why did the Martians leave their planet, and why did the Earth become home to humans and many other living beings? The answer can be hinted again by ancient myths and legends, in which one can find valuable information about what kind of tragedy once happened in our Galaxy.
Presumably, the once fertile and habitable Mars suffered as a result of the penetration of celestial bodies into the solar system, which rammed the nearest planet Phaethon (Tiamat). As a result of this catastrophe, the magnetic field of the Red Planet was deformed, and the traces of this Martian Armageddon are still visible: three fragments of Tiamat, crashing into Mars, left traces in the form of three giant craters on one side of the planet, and three vents of volcanoes on the other. Ufologists are convinced that some of the Martians managed to escape and move to the neighboring Earth, or fly away into the vast expanses of Space.
The assumption that life once existed on Mars is far from new, but if earlier this could only be guessed at, then with the help of new technologies, mankind receives more and more evidence of this hypothesis. Moreover, a theory has been put forward that the Earth is a copy of Mars, since there are a number of coincidences in its relief and that of the Earth. In favor of "copying" the Earth from Mars is the fact that the Martian rocks are very similar to Earth's minerals, and, moreover, differ in almost the same variety. For example, the mountain depression of the Red Planet is very close in composition to one of the regions in Australia, and the depth of the Mariner Valley is comparable to that of the Earth's Mariana Trench.

The world-famous images taken by the Viking spacecraft captured on Mars certain cone-shaped and pyramidal objects, surprisingly similar to the famous Egyptian pyramids. In addition, in one of the photographs you can see the face of the "sphinx", which could well be attributed to our imagination, if not for one "but": between the "buildings" in the northern hemisphere of the Red Planet (Kydonia) and the "sphinx" geometric dependence.
Modern space equipment allows you to get quite interesting images from Mars, which sometimes show quite interesting objects in the form of man-made structures or even living beings. An interesting mystery of Mars is represented by the so-called "glass worms" - mysterious structures like pipes with a corrugated structure. These unusual formations, lying on the Martian surface, sometimes intersect with each other and disappear somewhere in the relief gaps.
The "oddities" of Mars include parallel lines, which are left behind by an unknown moving object. One of the robotic cameras installed on the space station recorded an object with a radius of 20 meters, which slowly moves along the surface of Mars, leaving a deep furrow behind it.
Researcher Phil Plate believes that the slope along which this "pebble" is rolling is not at all steep, but what exactly makes it move is not clear. Moreover, upon closer examination of the traces left by this formation, it was found that the grooves have an intermittent structure and between them there are intervals of equal length. Researchers have so far refrained from commenting.
Some ufologists are inclined to think that more advanced Martians could have come to Earth even before the catastrophe that destroyed their planet occurred. Presumably, the landing of the Martian landing party took place on the territory of the legendary Atlantis, and it was the Atlanteans who became the successors of the knowledge of the space guests, learned how to make spacecraft, and mastered the latest technologies. However, the Martian Armageddon also contributed to the destruction of Atlantis, although it is likely that some of the Atlanteans managed to escape.

The change in the species of ancient people on Earth happened surprisingly quickly, and this again leads scientists to the idea that man was once artificially bred. Neanderthals, Cro-Magnons - all of them appeared as a result of experiments set by aliens from the Red Planet. At the moment, there is pretty strong evidence that man is a hybrid of an ape and, quite possibly, the Martians themselves. The ancient Christian historian Isaiah refers in his writing to the ancient Egyptian priest Moneto, who wrote in his writings about the gods who came from heaven and could interbreed people with animals. Most likely, it was as a result of such experiments that the famous monsters appeared - centaurs, sirens, harpies and other creatures that are so often found in ancient legends.
And one more interesting fact in favor of the existence of the Martians: the representatives of one of the Indian tribes, the Hopi, which lives in Arizona (USA), believe that their ancestors were the Maya, who flew from the Pacific Islands to South America. Moreover, this journey was made by the Maya on flying vehicles provided to them by "teachers" from the Red Planet, whom they called "Kachina".
Of course, it is difficult to believe that a long time ago the Red Planet was "alive" based only on legends. But another indisputable proof of the existence in the distant past of life on Mars literally fell from the sky - a meteorite of Martian origin found in Antarctica in 1984 contains traces of decomposition of organic compounds, which means that the Red Planet was once inhabited by living creatures. And much earlier than the Earth.
