The chronicles say that Prince Svyatoslav was the father of Vladimir, who baptized Russia "with fire and sword." But this is not a docking: Svyatoslav was born in 942, and Vladimir's eldest son was born in 977. Since the chronicles do not report the date of birth of Vladimir, historians obtained it in a simple way: 942+ (977 - 942) / 2 = about 960.
But in those days, generic foundations were in effect and they should not be violated in any case, i.e. a man could marry only after 21 years old And the child could be born only at 22 years old or later.
This means that if the son of Vladimir was born in 977, then Vladimir is approximately: 977 - 22 = 955.
Then it turns out that Prince Svyatoslav - Vladimir's father was only 13 years old
Therefore, Vladimir could not be his son, and, moreover, the third in a row.
And who then is Vladimir's father? The answer is given to us by Rogneda - the daughter of the daughter of the Polotsk prince
When Vladimir approached her, she refused, stating that she did not want to go for the rabbiichich. Historians interpret the word rabbiichich for us - the son of a slave, but slavery did not exist then in Russia. In fact, he is the son of a rabbi (rabbi), i.e. the son of a rabbi.

We open the famous "Word of Law and Grace" [312] by Metropolitan Hilarion, the first Russian metropolitan who lived in 1051-1054. The question arises, what does Metropolitan Hilarion call the great Russian prince Vladimir - almost his contemporary, the hero of the previous generation? Here is the original Old Russian text:
"And faith in all languages extended to our Russian language and praise to OUR KAGAN VOLODIMIR, from him the baptism was byhom."
So, the Grand Duke Vladimir was also called KAGAN. And it was not some semi-literate scribe who called him that, but the HEAD OF THE RUSSIAN CHURCH.
For those who understand, it can be added that "kagan" is not just a king, khan, or another title of ruler. The kagan is the head of the kaganate. And the kaganate is a state formation built on the basis of a certain religious worldview - Judaism !
