Filipino resident Cline Solano is now almost a year old. He was born with a very rare congenital anomaly called hydroanencephaly.

This means that his brain was underdeveloped, but his skull was greatly enlarged due to cerebral fluid.

As Klein's skull continued to enlarge, surgeons performed surgery in March 2018 to drain excess fluid and relieve pressure on the child's brain.

The operation was successful, but it had dire consequences, the front of the skull collapsed inward, leaving bone fragments on the sides that look like horns from afar.

To correct these consequences, surgeons are preparing a special reconstructive surgery for the boy, but Kline's mother fears that her baby is too weak and may not be able to withstand it.

Justina copes with all the problems alone, she does not maintain any contacts with the child's father.

The child's condition is now being monitored at the Manila Children's Medical Center. In addition to head problems, Kline also has difficulty breathing and breathes through a tube. He also feeds through the tube.

But worst of all, the child, like all children of his age, grows rapidly, and so does his skull. This means that his "horns" are getting bigger and harder every month.

To raise money for the first operation, the boy's mother had already sold almost everything of value that she had. And soon she will have nothing to pay, since each visit to the clinic for examination costs money. A woman can only hope for the help of benefactors.

Hydroanencephaly, according to doctors, is a very rare condition. Usually, children are born with some one ailment - anencephaly or hydrocephalus. And each of them is deadly.

However, even with the enormous difficulty in treating this ailment, children with hydroanencephaly have a chance of surviving into adolescence or more if properly cared for and treated.
