Unfortunately, some stories remain a mystery.

Sometimes it is difficult to draw any other conclusion, except that we are still afraid of the unknown. We consider ourselves the crown of creation, but many things will remain a mystery to us for a long time. Like, for example, this story with the obsessed girl Annelise.

This incident took place in 1976, and the impression is that what is happening has brought you and me into the remote Middle Ages. This is a rite of exorcism, with the help of which they tried to expel the unclean from the body of a girl recognized by everyone as possessed. The ceremony was performed as much as 65 times! In short, this is a really strange and creepy story.

Annelise Michel was born in 1952 in a Bavarian town in a Catholic family. The girl's life was no different from that of her peers: she went to school, played with friends, and attended church.

In 1968, the girl had her first frightening symptom: Anneliese suddenly bit her tongue due to a spasm. During the year, the girl had seizures in which her speech was taken away, her body was stiff, and her breathing was stifled.

The psychiatrist threw up his hands, all medical devices showed the norm and the absence of any changes in Annelisa's brain.

However, her condition worsened: she howled, growled, made faces and did not let anyone near her, and when the attacks subsided, she begged the doctors to save her. The girl was sent to the hospital for a long time.

The doctors believed that she had epilepsy, but medications for 4 years of treatment have never helped the unfortunate woman. Parents, Catholic believers, dared to ask the church to deliver their daughter from the unclean. They were convinced that Anneliese was possessed by the devil.

And the church went forward.

In 1975, two monks decided on the rite of exorcism, which was described back in 1614. Strange, but during the ceremony the girl struggled and screamed so frenziedly that three men could hardly restrain her. Annelise moaned and said that the priest's hands burned her like fire.

For almost a year, from September 1975 to June 1976, the monks tried to exorcise the devil from the girl: they performed the ceremony 65 times, 42 of which were recorded on video. On the tape, Annelise refuses to eat, claiming that the devil himself forbids her to do so. And so, on June 30, 1976, the next convulsions - and death …

The girl was severely emaciated, at the time of her death she weighed only 31 kilograms, in addition, she was confirmed to have severe pneumonia.

After the death of Anneliza, a trial began, the prosecutor accused the monks and the parents of the deceased that they refused to follow medical instructions, which became the cause of death.

The Holy Fathers went to prison for 6 months.

Official diagnosis: psychosis and epilepsy. But now it does not matter at all, because the question of what really happened to Anneliese is hanging in the air - the answer to it can no longer be found.

The filmmakers are trying to do this - the story of a possessed girl formed the basis of the movie "Emily Rose's Six Demons."

Alas, this is just one of the versions.
