A third of a century later, another cosmonaut, Sergei Krichevsky, told at a scientific conference about the oddities that happened in near-earth orbit with him and his colleagues. For example, through the windows of the orbital station, they saw giant figures of angels. Many astronauts felt someone's presence in the dark abyss, someone's gaze directed at them. And one of the conquerors of space clearly heard the voice of the deceased mother: "Son, get out of here - you appeared here too early."
Of course, the "conquerors of the Universe", clinging to the remnants of common sense, tried to convince themselves that these were nothing more than hallucinations caused by the stress of separation from earthly conditions. But then what about the warning of a malfunction, received by one of the inhabitants of the station "Mir", made by an anonymous voice from the black space? After checking the equipment, it turned out that the prompt was not only timely and accurate, but also life-saving.
One of the scientists who did not arrogantly dismiss the "orbital horror stories" of cosmonauts was a radio astronomer and astrophysicist, associate professor of the St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation, Ph. D. in physics and mathematics, Kirill Butusov, a member of the bureau of the commission on anomalous phenomena at the Russian Geographical Society.

There are many known cases when ball lightning, having flown into a dwelling, does not just crash into the very first obstacle, but purposefully chases after people, striking everyone in turn. Butusov defends the good name of the cosmonaut Vladislav Volkov, who died during the landing of the descent vehicle, who heard a dog barking in orbit and knew that it was Laika, the "discoverer" of space, left to perish in it.
Modern physics shies away from certain effects only because it is unable to give them a reasonable interpretation. For example, the effect of visual magnification of objects observed from near-earth orbit. If, say, the whole of Brazil is visible from the window, what is the attitude to the recognition of the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Glazkov, who saw the blue bus running along the Brazilian highway? But Glazkov is not the only one whose view seems to contradict the laws of optics. Vitaly Sevastyanov also managed to distinguish from space a small two-story house near the Sochi port, in which he spent his childhood. And for the first time, the effect of an atmospheric lens was discovered by the American astronaut Gordon Cooper. They did not announce him crazy, but they did not comment on the strangeness.
Kirill Butusov is convinced that all such oddities are objective. If we consider them mysticism, we will not move forward in our understanding of the universe. Wouldn't it be better to admit that science has simply not yet come to explain the paradoxes of the cosmos …
