The explosion of the first atomic bomb in New Mexico in 1945 triggered an alien conspiracy, believes Jim Marrs, author of The Alien Plan. “When we blew it up, so much energy was released that, probably, ripples went through our entire solar system,” argues a lover of secret meanings. “And other advanced races kind of looked at us more closely and thought: my God, these kids have found matches.”

Indeed, after the start of nuclear tests in the late 1940s, numerous reports of UFO sightings began to arrive. On June 10, 1964, the launch of an SM-65 Atlas ballistic missile from a navy ship in the Big Sur area of California went according to plan. However, during debriefing from the recording, the military saw a silvery disk that caught up with the missile and, flying around it, directed the beams towards the warhead.

Three years later, the command of Malmstrom airbase received reports of unidentified objects hovering over the base. Suddenly the alarm sounded - absolutely all ballistic missiles became unguided.

Recently, a group of retired US military and civilian pilots, as well as intelligence officers, demanded a special hearing in the US Congress on the "greatest mystery of the 20th century" - alien visits to Earth. Over the past 50 years, experts say the US government has carefully concealed the truth about these visits.

In the group, called Project Disclosure, there are about 20 people, and they are all confident in the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence. In this, according to them, they are convinced by personal experience and familiarity with materials that remain secret, despite their universal significance.

The head of the group, Dr. Stephen Greer, claims that the aliens are closely watching what is happening on Earth, are concerned about the growth of arsenals, especially nuclear ones, and are trying to prevent the militarization of space. Robert Saylos, a retired Air Force captain, says that in 1967 in Montana, he witnessed a flying saucer with his own eyes and reported it to his superiors. Sailos was on duty at the search rocket launcher control panel. According to him, the appearance of an unidentified flying object disabled the launch system.

Donna Hare, a former employee of the US National Aeronautics and Space Agency, claims that the American astronauts who landed on the moon saw an alien ship, but received strict orders not to disclose this information. Finally, retired Air Force Major George Feiler reveals that during his years at Maguay, New Jersey, a UFO landed nearby, from where an alien emerged and headed for the gates of the base, but was killed on the spot by a security guard. The United States has not only eyewitness accounts, but also material evidence of aliens on Earth. They claim that in 1947, in the New Mexico desert, Pentagon representatives discovered the wreckage of an alien spacecraft and the remains of its passengers.

According to participants in the Disclosure project, about 400 eyewitnesses are ready to testify at the hearings in Congress, which the group requires. They accuse George W. Bush of making the decision to classify all materials about aliens when he was the director of the CIA.

The US Department of Defense has consistently denied any credible evidence of aliens. Between 1947 and 1969, a group of specialists codenamed Project Blue Book worked at the Ohio Air Force Base. They investigated 12,618 UFO reports and found explanations for many of them. 701 messages were deemed too unreliable.

In 1997, the Pentagon announced the formal closure of a half-century wreckage case in New Mexico. According to the official version, these were the wreckage of a meteorological probe, and the corpses of the aliens turned out to be dummies. Despite the colorful stories of the participants in the Disclosure project, Washington journalists doubt that lawmakers will be interested in them and arrange hearings.
