In the 70s, Japan was swept by a wave of interest in all the paranormal. Bending spoons with the power of thought, the prophecies of Nostradamus, the mystical New Age movements and kokkuri - the Japanese equivalent of Ouija boards - have all become part of the life of ordinary citizens.
The second half of the 20th century has become a truly golden age for all sorts of swindlers, false doctrines and other unnecessary nonsense. Along with this, the 70s were famous for bright episodes involving aliens - incidents in Kofu, when second graders watched a UFO with orange lights land in the middle of a vineyard, and in Nikoro, where aliens resembling octopuses rolled a local resident in a flying saucer.

At the same time, an equally mysterious case occurred. This story was published in a Japanese magazine. On September 3, 1974, a 31-year-old truck driver (his last name remained a secret, the journalist called the young man "Mr. F.") was transporting furniture to the city of Takamatsu, located in Kagawa Prefecture. By 7 o'clock in the morning, he was supposed to reach the port of Yuno, from where the goods would be sent to their destination.

Early in the morning, F. was driving along National Root 30 and, hungry, stopped at the side of the road for breakfast noodles. Back on the road, he noticed a silvery-white light in the sky. In this radiance F. managed to see the contours of the flying saucer. The alien vehicle landed noiselessly just ten meters from the Japanese. And then everything became like a fog, and F. lost consciousness.
When he woke up, he was surprised to find that he was sitting in his car, and next to him, in the passenger seat, was a strange-looking woman. The intruder's face resembled a mask with huge eyes. Long hair fell over the shoulders and the clothes appeared to be made of rubber. The height of the stranger was about 160 cm. On the top of the woman's head, there was some kind of antenna that looked like a horn.

Next to this strange lady F. felt, to put it mildly, not at ease. And then the woman spoke. Her mechanical voice told him that she flew to Earth from another galaxy. “Something is wrong with my head,” the stranger complained. "I want you to replace her." "How?" - Asked the trucker frightened to death and, having received instructions, got down to business.
Everything turned out to be very simple. First, he pressed three buttons on her chest, and then, removing the biorobot's head, installed a new one on her shoulders, the same one - and pressed the same buttons again, but in reverse order.
After the operation, F. was able to talk with the alien. “There are many of us on Earth, but we do not seek to capture your planet. We are refugees and we settled here because our sun collided with another star,”she said.
The aliens of her kind were something like biorobots. A computer system was built into the head of each of them - with a navigator and translator, which allowed them to speak any of the earthly languages. Before disappearing (F. could not remember exactly how it happened), the alien promised the man that someday they would meet again.
The Japanese arrived at the destination on time, only 20 minutes late (although, according to his calculations, he should have arrived at exactly 7). Returning home, the first thing the Japanese man did was confess everything to his wife. So he said: "Today I talked to an alien and replaced her head." The wife laughed in response and said that he was probably very tired on the road and that he had a dream.
The Japanese also shared his story with colleagues at work. For the sake of publicity, this case was placed in a company newsletter. A year and a half later, F. was invited to a Japanese talk show. On TV, he said that the meeting with the UFO passed for him without consequences: he did not notice any physical or mental changes in his body. And he saw a familiar flying saucer in the sky a few months later, during one of the flights, but this time the aliens kept their distance, not approaching his truck.
