Apartment No. 50, which is located at No. 10 on B. Sadovaya Street in Moscow, is known to many and is visited by tens of thousands of people every year. In 1921-1924 Bulgakov lived here and there is almost no doubt that it was this room that became the prototype of “bad apartment” No. 50 from the mystical novel “The Master and Margarita”, where Woland lived with his demonic retinue and the “ball of Satan” took place.

All the walls of the entrance, where apartment No. 50 is located, are covered with writing and painted by fans of the writer's work, and some of them believe that certain events in the book are connected with very real incidents. Here are some phrases from the walls:

- “Messire! Saturday. The sun is going down. It is time.

- “Woland, come! Too much rubbish got divorced …"

"Never ask for anything."

- "Manuscripts do not burn."

- "Woland, have you been to Chernobyl?"

Promotional video:

- “Pour more oil. And for me a little bit …"

- "And I dreamed that the world is ruled by love …"

It is believed that the revelations left in this house can be heard by higher powers. For civilized victims of cupid there is "Mail of Love". Notes with desires are dropped into a special box installed here, which are then tied to balloons and launched into the sky. They say that you need to be more careful with wishes - they are considered by the professor of black magic, Monsieur Woland, in other words - Satan himself.

It seems that the door is about to open and Annushka’s curious nose will stick out at the staircase, the heels of red-haired Gella will knock on the steps, and a huge black cat with a primus in its paws is walking importantly onto the landing …

Bulgakov's apartment is an old museum, consisting of 8 rooms. Each of them personifies one of the sides of the multifaceted personality of the writer and makes visitors feel the spirit of that era. The atmosphere of these rooms is permeated with a thin thread of mysticism, covered with a barely transparent shawl of mystery, and perhaps for a reason …

There is evidence of casual eyewitnesses that sometimes, on moonless nights, the sounds of a piano are heard from the windows of Bulgakov's apartment, and some have even observed strange reflections slipping through the glass windows from the inside. And this despite the fact that at night there is not a single living soul in the museum apartment.

It was in this apartment that the pages of The Master and Margarita were written. It is impossible to say with certainty whether supernatural forces live in this room, but Bulgakov's thoughts, feelings and experiences clearly remained here forever.
