The average daily temperature in 2099 in most countries of the world will be 45 degrees Celsius, suggests a recent study from NASA.
The disappointing forecast was compiled by the space agency based on an analysis of 21 climate models. The state of the earth's climate will be affected by an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the planet's atmosphere.
NASA noted that the Earth's climate change can take place in two scenarios - "normal" and "extreme". The second development model will negatively affect the entire planet, but will hit developing countries the most.
The scenario of climate change depends on the level of greenhouse gas emissions into the Earth's atmosphere. The effects of ecological metamorphosis can be catastrophic - from heat waves to famine due to droughts and floods.
NASA developed a similar forecast for the United States in 2013. The study is actively used to assess climate risk and quantify the threat posed by climate change.
