What is reality for a person? A mosaic formed by the brain from the sensations that our five senses brought to it. The brain creates from them a complex picture called reality - images, experiences, and so on. To what extent the picture created by our brain corresponds to what is outside of us is an open question. A person is accustomed to believe that reality is the same as he sees it. But this confidence is not based on anything. We just blindly believe in this …

All our ideas about the world around us are concentrated in a highly darkened, literally and figuratively, area - the brain: electrical impulses from the eyes, ears, receptors of smell, taste and other perception, come through the "wires" in the form of nerve cells to those responsible for them. treatment of the area of this organ.

The brain itself does not have eyes, ears and nostrils, as such: using a computer metaphor, these are just "input-output devices" of information, which are connected by means of "wires" - neurons (for example, through the optic nerve) to the "central processor", RAM, ROM and other functional areas of the brain.

Thus, absolutely everything that falls into our field of vision, hearing and touch, for us, more precisely, for our brain, is reduced to an electro-informational picture "on a small screen" in the darkness of the cranium. There are no other ways to assess what is happening in our country.

Electrochemical synaptic connections constantly forming in the brain, the essence is the process of obtaining a subjective experience, an algorithm for processing data that is still received in the same "electrical" way.

Unfortunately, we do not have any criteria for checking the adequacy of the objective reality of this “picture” in the brain. It is enough to connect, for example, a USB interface to the optic nerve, we will see only that “reality” that will be transmitted to our brain by an external source of electrical impulses - a computer.

Unfortunately, even theoretically it is impossible to bypass this only way of our perception of reality …

Hence the question: if our entire "earthly life" is just a complex of impressions consisting of streams of information, then when we switch to "non-earthly" (not material) life, what do we lose besides the purely informational factor of interpreting matter as a kind of " virtual "substance?

Promotional video:

1. Science does not know what matter is - only speculative abstract philosophical constructions;

2. All our subjective ideas about matter, again, the essence is a changing virtual "picture" strictly inside the cranium;

3. When replacing the concept of "matter" in the internal picture of the world with the concept of "not matter", nothing will change, except for one of the information factors of the surrounding reality.

Professor Sir John Carew Eccles, an Australian neurophysiologist who won the 1963 Nobel Prize for Achievement in Brain Physiology, said in a lecture at the University of Osaka: “I have experimental evidence that the work of consciousness cannot be explained by the brain. . With his colleague, the founder of modern neurosurgery, Wilder Penfield, who has performed over 10,000 brain operations, Eccles wrote the book The Mystery of Man.

Today this thesis is repeated almost literally by our contemporary T. V. Chernigovskaya is a scientist in the field of neuroscience and psycholinguistics, as well as the theory of consciousness, (Doctor of Science, Professor of St. Petersburg State University).

I will give some ideas about information that have developed today:

“Everything that exists has a quality that is not contained in the elements of which it is composed. The source of the qualities of all existence lies outside the framework of existence.

Any object consists of its constituent parts. It has a quality that the elements that form it do not have. When the elements are brought together, quality arises. When they lie apart, the quality is lost. Car parts heaped up do not form a car. The assembled parts form a car, a new quality and essence.

Any chemical element has certain qualities. These qualities are not present in its constituent elements, but appear when these elements are combined. Any quality literally comes out of nowhere. The essence of the car is not in any of its parts, but the combination of these parts gives rise to this essence.

This effect is close to information. It has no quality, but it is the cause of all qualities. Information is absolute being. Lack of information is absolute nothingness.

What is our world - this question is just as impossible to answer as to the question "what is reality." She is, but she is not …

From the totality of the above, it follows: the nature of our world has an informational essence. Everything that surrounds us: the entire visible and invisible world - information in one form or another. The space-time material-energetic universe is information "swirling" into energy and further into matter. Its reflection is observed in the known and unknown laws of physics."

conclusions

- the life of the soul does not depend on matter, because it is not a part of it, just as information is not part of a computer that is not included in the electrical network that "spiritualizes" it;

- a living cell differs from a dead cell only in one property - expedient informational processes, and there is no chemical difference between them;

- it seems that the "afterlife" is not fundamentally different from the "earthly life", except for the subjective impression of the soul about the place of localization of self-consciousness. That with "this" life - an informational "picture", that with "that" - it is the same, but only with its "unearthly" specificity.

"The most valuable thing for a person is his consciousness, for no one would want to live forever in an unconscious state …"

Thus, our only reality is information and nothing but information. All the rest are constructions woven from this "material" by our consciousness at 100%.

“Information seems to be“exhaled”by God, like an artist“exhales”an epoch from himself with his works. She is eternal, reflected in our world in its temporary material forms. It stitches the whole world, not being anything that the world is (space, time, energy and matter). But thanks to information, all of the above exists and in the end the world itself."

My understanding of some terms

Information - information independent of the form of their presentation - an intangible entity that has an interpreted semantic content; since the results of completely material information interactions do not obey the "fundamental laws of conservation of matter and energy" (one object acquires a certain substance, while the other does not lose it), it cannot exist outside the interaction of objects and is not lost by any of them in the process of this interaction.

Interaction between objects, in the process of which one acquires some substance, and the other does not lose it, is called information interaction. In this case, the transmitted substance is called information.

Consciousness is the process of forming an image of the subject's reality in the form of his concepts and representations based on comparisons.

Initial consciousness is a level of development of the nervous system that provides self-learning.

Awareness of sensations is a level of consciousness in which a conscious being experiences subjective feelings, emotions, impressions.

Self-awareness is the level of awareness at which a conscious being subjectively distinguishes itself from other objects, and its behavior from other phenomena.
