This amulet was included in our list because of the unique scarab-shaped decoration located in its center. It is this that makes the amulet an incredibly rare and valuable example of ancient craftsmanship.
Initially, archaeologists believed that the scarab was made from ordinary chalcedony, but detailed studies have refuted their version.
As it turned out later, in the manufacture of the scarab, a unique Libyan glass was used, formed when a meteorite fell in ancient times. But why is this glass so highly prized?
Because in the whole world there is only one place where you can find such a unique composition and beauty glass. This place is located in the Libyan Desert, hence the name of the glass.
To create the amulet, someone traveled almost 800 kilometers, after which he made an ornament in the shape of a scarab out of glass.

2. Dagger of meteorite iron
Many interesting artifacts were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun, but one unusual dagger deserves special attention.
It first attracted the attention of scientists at the time of its discovery.
There were no traces of corrosion on it, despite its impressive age, and the processing quality remained at a high level.
Then archaeologists assumed that it was made of metal, but there was a slight flaw in this version. The Iron Age in ancient Egypt came a thousand years after the creation of the dagger.
This issue generated a lot of controversy over the following decades, until a special group led by Daniel Comelli took up the study of the find.
As a result of research on the latest equipment, it was possible to find out that the dagger is made of iron of meteoric origin.
In addition to the meteorite iron, the dagger boasts a golden hilt and scabbard, as well as crystal jewelry.
3. Ring with a strange image of God
In the tomb of Tutankhamun there was a ring with a very interesting image of the god Ptah. Whichever side you look at, the creature from the ring does not in any way resemble an ordinary person.
In most cases, the Egyptians portrayed the gods in human form, but the image of such a plan can be considered unique. Why is it here that the god Ptah is shown in such a strange form?
In addition to the strange Bird on the ring, you can see many incomprehensible objects surrounding it from all sides.
Here you need to think carefully whether such a setting and the image of Ptah is a vision of the artist or he painted as he saw. I tend to the second option, because the bird's look is too unusual and there are too many small details for invention.
