A former military and amateur astronomer in Eugene, Oregon, USA reported to the World UFO Network (MUFON) about a triangular UFO with three orange lights.
The veteran wrote in a statement that on September 25, 2016 at 8:15 pm, he went outside to smoke and noticed a triangular object above the city.
“I just went out to my veranda, from which you can observe the entire northeastern part of Eugene and the northern part of Springfield, - said an eyewitness, - looked at the sky and above the next house between the power lines saw an equilateral triangle of three orange lights.”
The astronomy veteran is confident that there should be no bright stars in this part of the sky at this time of year.
“When I looked closely, I saw that objects began to move. At first I thought it was a civilian plane. But then, when they began to rotate on their axis, I realized that it was a triangular UFO."
“Bright orange lights began to flicker and then, like an oscillating mirage in the desert, for a split second a large triangular ship with a flat metal lower part appeared, in the center of which was a circle with a slight bluish glow. Very similar to the scene of the movie "Predator".
An eyewitness then watched as the object stopped rotating.
“The ship stopped spinning, put its nose up, as if preparing for vertical takeoff, and then disappeared. It looks like he put on his "disguise" again and disappeared from sight. Like the X-Files movie.

Then a fan of science fiction films saw two helicopters appear.
“30 seconds after the disappearance of the UFO, two helicopters appeared. Eugene is a small town and helicopters are very rare. They circled here for about an hour,”added an eyewitness.
MUFON investigator Tom Bowder has begun investigating the case.
