Teleportation as a phenomenon is well represented in science fiction. For example, the epic film "Star Trek" shows the "teleportation" of the crew from one spaceship to another or a planet. Although obviously Star Trek is science fiction, the concepts shown do make sense from a scientific point of view.

Some of the advanced technologies shown in the series have already been developed and ideas such as the "warp" drive are being explored. All this forces us to ask ourselves, can teleportation be the next step to implementation? Obviously, we are already ready for the adoption of the "magic" technology of almost instantaneous movement.

Teleportation includes "splitting" a material object, transforming it into energy, and then materializing the same object at another point in space. The idea is a combination of telecommunications and transport. If you admit the possibility of such movements, then you are not the only sane person.

Scientists tried to translate the concept into reality about a couple of decades ago. In 1993, an international team of six scientists stated that ideal teleportation was in principle possible. In fact, teleportation has already been achieved using photons, light fields, nuclear spins, and trapped ions.

TELEPORTATION BECOME CLOSER

Ten years later, in 2013, scientists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) took a new step towards realizing the ambitious goal of building a quantum computer - this was achieved by teleporting information through a computer chip.

That is, physicists have a definite point to achieve and realize the most amazing possibility - instantaneous displacement.

Although the first achievement in no way leads us to teleport a person to any point, throwing away skepticism, progress is visible. Why? Because quantum teleportation is considered the only way in which a phenomenon can occur, since an atom or a photon can be transmitted in exactly the same form from one place to another.

Scientists have used the weaving property of quantum physics to teleport information multiple times. This happens when two particles form a bond in which any interaction in one of them affects the other, even if they are separated by large distances.

Better yet, in July 2017, scientists pushed to a new level of advancement by taking the beginning of quantum teleportation from the laboratory and sending a photon into space.

exist, scientists said.

By the way, some ancient texts describe deities who had the ability to teleport using different devices. Clearly, stories are often dismissed as ridiculous myths or legends. But it is worth remembering that many of the so-called myths turned out to be true truths.

Perhaps in the past there was an advanced civilization that developed the technologies that we are now trying to discover. If teleportation has already been developed and applied once, then we will definitely find it and implement it in our life.

The domestic government is also interested in revolutionary technologies, supporting the National Technological Initiative program, created by specialists from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. It is difficult to judge how the one-year-old plans are actually being implemented, but the teleportation technology was planned to be introduced by 2035.
