The likelihood that on the island of Puerto Rico (Caribbean Sea) there is most likely a secret underground base of aliens who carry out their activities there by agreement with the earthly authorities, conspiracy theorists have been discussing for many decades.
Over the years, ufologists have accumulated a voluminous baggage of stories about the observation of various UFOs on the island's territory, and especially a lot of stories that local residents observed a wide variety of strange creatures. There were the famous gray aliens (gray), and two-meter-tall giants and tiny dwarfs and those creatures that they began to call Chupacabras.
In his book "Underwater UFOs", ufologist Vladimir Azhazha cites some of these stories, which originally saw the light of day in the books of the Puerto Rican explorer, English ufologist Timothy Goode, who published such books as "The Invasion Threat" and "Alien Bases".
1967 year. Irma Otis from New York told how, during a summer training expedition to the vicinity of El Yunque (National Reserve), a group of students from Puerto Rican College Rio Piedras, together with Professor Gonzales, observed a luminous creature at night, about two meters tall, very thin, with long, to the knees with his hands, dressed in a silver, body-fitting jumpsuit.
It emerged from a dense forest shortly after student Ramon Quinones disappeared there. The discussion of what happened immediately stopped, everyone was in a state of stupor for about 15 minutes, until the "luminous subject", slowly backing away, disappeared into the thickets. Only after that did everyone regain the ability to move. The search for Ramon by the forestry service and the military yielded nothing. All witnesses were warned about non-disclosure of the incident. In that year, the roads around El Yunk were often blocked by the police.
Cases of strange disappearances of people in this area of Puerto Rico (especially children!) Are also not uncommon. It all began in 1961, when children from the east coast of El Yunque and the surrounding mountains began to disappear.
In 1973, on July 25, in the foothills of El Yunque, seven-year-old Antonio Alemar disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Soldiers and volunteers unsuccessfully searched for the child for several weeks.

Between 1961 and 1978 (over 17 years), 36 cases of missing children were officially reported in El Yunc, although the actual figure could have been much higher.
1976, February. Several cases of the disappearance of the military. Two US naval officers disappeared from Ceiba base (the eastern end of the island, near Mount El Yunk). Their disappearance was reported in the local newspaper El Bosero on 2 March. Sources in the Puerto Rican military leadership revealed that some of the soldiers missing at El Yunc were officially “missing” in the Vietnam War.
1973, October. Jose Alemara's wife and five-year-old daughter met with a strange creature. They sat in a closed car while Jose said goodbye to his family. Suddenly the woman heard her husband's voice nearby: "Anna, I am here, open the door for me!" But the daughter cried out in fright, and Anna, to her horror, saw a long three-fingered hand on the windshield. She looked like a chicken paw. The stranger's head was ovoid, with pointed ears and large black eyes. The creature reacted to their screams by disappearing.

1977, July. Contact in development. Contacts of a 42-year-old resident of Kebradillas with green-skinned lizard-like four-fingered creatures, about a meter in height, continued for several months, after which he showed extrasensory abilities. But, unable to withstand the persecution of the newcomers, in October he sold the house and moved to a small village.
1977, August 26. Two creatures with scaly skin like fish, four-fingered, very long arms and a large flattened head were discovered by a secretary of a commercial firm in a conference room studying a wall map of the island. At the woman's scream, they ran to the window and jumped out.
1980, March 22. A security guard at a hospital in Aguadilla (a coastal town in the north-west of the island) at night, after a warning, shot three times at a meter-tall alien, with four fingers on long, thin arms. I remember the big mouth, flat wide nose and "donkey" ears. It misfired twice, with the creature teleporting on the third shot.
1980 year. A sick (with a high fever) police officer Ivan Rivera Morales was abducted from his house at night by two gray creatures (due to severe joint pain, he prayed to heaven for recovery). Rivera was taken aboard a UFO, on which they dived off the southwest coast of Puerto Rico and ended up at an alien base underground, in the area of Lake Cartagena Laguna. I woke up at home three hours later healthy.
1988, June. Several cases of visiting an alien base. Carlos Manuel Mercado at night was taken by three gray, without ears, 120 centimeters tall, from his house and taken aboard a disc-shaped UFO, commanded by a hybrid, medic, 180 centimeters tall. Then they ended up in an underground alien base under Mount El-Kahul, next to Lake Aaguna Cartagena.
The base was a production line for the repair of disc-shaped and triangular aircraft. There he was told that they had been here for a long time, with peaceful purposes and were not going to leave here. “We bring many people here so that everyone knows the truth - we wish mutually beneficial cooperation.” Another guest was a high-ranking officer. His testimony matched Mercado's account. Two more people from the residents managed to secretly get into the base through the ventilation shaft, where they saw the US military as a guard.
1989, April. Mass livestock vivisection. Ceiba Norte, near Gurabo, was "hit by an avalanche" of cases of mutilation of animals. Residents blamed the so-called chupacabras - animals unknown to science, sucking blood. At this time, Señor Ortiz, who was fishing with friends in the Haguas River, at night heard a strange howl of a dog coming from a tree. When the creature making the howl was illuminated with a beam of a strong lantern, something like a bird fell to the ground.
They grabbed her, carried her to the village and put her in a cage. The ferocious animal ate only raw meat, had large fangs, like a snake. Its head was without feathers and had pimpled skin, like that of a toad. After federal agents seized the find, a photograph of a snake bird remained.

1989, July. Several cases of encounters with aliens. Local residents have repeatedly noticed the grays near Lake Aaguna Cartagena. Medina of La Parguera also met five aliens in July. He later saw them two more times. Medina gave a detailed description of them and expressed the opinion that the aliens have a base in the area, and the authorities do not want them to come to the surface.
1989, December 1. Aliens in the yard. The girl in Caguas saw from the window of her house in the courtyard of two grayish-green creatures, with large round heads, large black eyes and long arms that hung like whips. She ran to look for someone from the adults, but did not find and returned to the window. A small red ball floated in that place, but it soon disappeared. That same night, a neighbor saw a round UFO with multicolored lights hovering over that place.
1990, August 31. Contact with the grays did not take place. In the area of Cavo Rojo, residents met five aliens. Miguel Fugiero rode closer to them to get a better look, but was stopped by the gaze of one of them, which caused a state of catalepsy. And five, typical gray in appearance, of short stature, thin, with large heads and a mouth in the form of a slit, large slanting eyes, continued to walk towards the lake Laguna Cartagena.
1991, August 13. Several cases. Four-toed gray, completely naked, twice, with a gap of two weeks, appeared on the balcony of Marisol Camacho, who lives in the village of Maguayo, near the lake Laguna Cartagena, the first time at two in the morning, the second time in the afternoon. They were interested in the tropical plant "Swiss cheese". While they tore off the leaves and stack them, the hostess was in a daze. Later, in early September, in the evening, she observed a low flight of a UFO over her home.
1991, August. The newcomer got scared of the motorcyclist. At noon, Ulysses Perez was riding a motorcycle along an irrigation canal near Lake Aaguna Cartagena when he saw a creature - gray, as the press describes it, only the alien's skin was matte white, and the eyes were large and black. He sat on a log, jumped into the canal in fright and disappeared into the thicket of lilies. The eyewitness managed to make out the webbing between the fingers.
1991, September. A group of aliens in the house. Eleteiro Acosta, 80 years old, who lives near a balloon, entered his house and found six aliens in it. He shouted indignantly at them and swung his cane. The tallest of the intruders talked briefly with the others, after which they all jumped out the open window and walked towards the Sierra Barmeya ridge.
1991, October. The Grays took away her child from an island resident. Housewife Delia V., mother of two children, became interested in yoga and during meditation asked to give her higher knowledge. Leaving class early, went to bed. Before I could fall asleep, I felt someone's hand on my face, and the next moment I felt that I was flying somewhere up. Houses, streets remained below. Fear paralyzed the woman.
She woke up in bed at five in the morning. In the following months, she realized that she was pregnant. Once I noticed a silvery UFO in the sky and immediately found myself in a metal room, surrounded by a dozen small gray creatures. Then she remembered her cry of pain and an attempt to explain that she would not be able to give birth, since her children were born through a cesarean section. When I woke up, I saw an alien with a baby in her arms.

1995, March 11. Near the town of Orokovis, farmer Enrique Barreto Hernandez found eight slaughtered sheep in his paddock. Each of them had three small holes on the chest, without traces of blood. By November 1995, the number of mutilated domestic animals in Puerto Rico, including sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs and pigs, had reached several hundred.
According to eyewitnesses, the guilty creature had three toes with five-centimeter claws and thin skin of a gray-yellow-brown color on its feet. One police officer shot at a mysterious creature that attacked his guard dog and smelled a foul smell of blood, reminiscent of stagnant sewage. Some residents of the island directly point to the connection between the appearance of the Chupacabra and the UFO invasion.
1995, end of September. Computer technician Juan Murati was walking to his car at about five in the evening when he felt a gaze. Turning around, he fell into a state of shock: at a distance of 15 meters from him, a "scarecrow" of half a meter was sitting on a tree.
Huge, orange eyes, round and red like ketchup, attracted attention. Suddenly, the creature spread its wings, flapped them loudly and flew away. A month later, he saw him again in the tree, and in the evening of that day, the largest of his guard dogs was dead. On her neck, he found two "vampire" holes.
1995, November. Many residents have met with Chupacabras. The descriptions of the animal vampire coincide: height - up to 130 centimeters, huge almond-shaped eyes, a narrow face, oblong holes instead of a nose, a pear-shaped head without ears, a thin neck with almost no hair, sharp spines protrude from the crown of the head through the back of the head and along the ridge. The stories noted instances of their intelligent behavior.
1996 year. The military got "anomalous works of nature." Sisters Lillian and Valkyrie da Silva, 14 and 16 years old, met two strange creatures at an abandoned house on the edge of the forest: large, vertically elongated red eyes, sinewy shoulders, growths on the head and brownish skin.
On the same day, firefighters caught a similar creature and gave it to the military. It behaved peacefully, made rumbling sounds and smelled unpleasant. And in the evening, a similar alien was caught at a construction site by two military police officers, but the creature soon fell ill with an incomprehensible disease and died a month later.
1998, summer. The American magazine "Unsensored UFO Reports" described in detail the clash of children with gnomes in Puerto Rico. While wandering through the caves in the Tetas de Cayei mountains, near Salinas, curious teenagers encountered a large group of dwarfs, 30 centimeters tall.
They tried to grab a boy named Jose Luis Sayas by the leg. But he managed to fight back with the help of a stick, with which he cut open the skull of the creature. A clear liquid, like an egg white, flowed out of the hole in the abundance.
The guy brought the gnome's body home and put it in a jar of formaldehyde. The creature had a thin torso and a large head out of proportion to the body. The skin was gray-green with an olive tint. Instead of a nose - two holes, instead of ears - skin folds pointed upwards. A lipless mouth, huge colorless eyes with vertical pupils complemented his almost bald head. It was clearly male, had long arms below the knees and short legs. The fingers and toes were webbed and ended in cat's claws. Many learned experts have failed to identify it.
1998 year. Researcher X. Martin collected information about small creatures on the island. Local residents have long noticed the tiny neighbors. When people appeared, they hid in rock crevices, in caves or in deep vertical tunnels. Sometimes the roar of a powerful water stream was heard from there. Rumor has it that the network of tunnels covers a large part of the island. Often in the vicinity of them, strange orange-yellow spheres, 10 - 20 centimeters in diameter, are observed rapidly descending from the mountains into the forest thicket.
2000, autumn. On the island of Vieques, children and adolescents are quite often found with anomalous creatures. They claim that “the little men are 90-120 cm tall, thin and bony, with very long arms. And their head is in the shape of an egg."
2005, October 16. Twice a day, two eyewitnesses, who wished to remain anonymous, saw day and night a very thin creature, green in color, with red eyes. Both times in the banana grove. The younger eyewitness had a nervous breakdown, which prevented the investigation of this case.
