The history of the origin of the Dead Lake in the Penza region near the village of Leonidovka received another possible explanation. The son of a local resident told about the memories of his father, which prove that the origin of the lake is by no means natural.
Recall that the amazing lake in the shape of a regular circle with smooth edges has long been a topic of discussion for local residents. This is what a resident of Leonidovka, who witnessed a strange phenomenon, said about the cause of the anomaly.
“It happened in the early 1950s. There was a huge noise and a bright glow illuminated everything around. A huge spaceship landed in the forest, and its engines melted everything around. Everything around was either in dust or ashes - the trees were on fire like matches."
Further, according to eyewitnesses, time seemed to have stopped. No one left the ship, and soon the unidentified object simply took off.
According to a resident of Leonidovka, the pit in the shape of an ideal circle was soon filled with water. Local authorities advised residents not to visit the lake, but no explanation was received. It is believed that the Dead Lake in Leonidovka is radioactive.
