Not so long ago, in one of the articles I wrote that inventing and rewriting history is not as difficult as it might seem. I also wrote about alternative history of the 18th century. I'm not saying that there was a highly developed civilization 200 years ago, but apparently, the story was different.

But in this article the topic is a little different, namely, "our masters". Earlier I wrote that if you study the details and delve into the official history, you will find inconsistencies. This applies, for example, to the "great" Sukhanov Samson Ksenofontovich or Semenovich. After all, he had several patronymics, dates of birth and dates of death, although there is only one person.

I have posted 2 screenshots highlighting the necessary information, otherwise the article will be too long. Images can be enlarged by clicking on them, if that.

So who is this "great master"? Why is this person described in different sources by the same biography, but with different dates and patronymics?

I am only interested in 3 objects created by the "master". These are Babolovskaya bath, columns of St. Isaac's Cathedral and Alexander's column.

I already wrote an article about the bathtub that it is impossible to create it by hand, and many modern experts have confirmed this many times. The most precise machining is needed and it is not a fact that even modern technologies are capable of such a thing.

It doesn't even make sense to write about St. Isaac's Cathedral. Monolithic granite columns, up to 17 meters high, perfectly shaped and polished. Comments are superfluous, I do not know who will seriously believe that they were processed and created manually.

Although I also wrote an article with facts that says a lot about the fact that St. Isaac's Cathedral is an ancient temple, just rebuilt many times and now has a different look.

Well, the Alexander Column, almost the same as the columns of St. Isaac's Cathedral. All this and other projects are assigned to Samson Sukhanov with some inhuman capabilities.

But take a look at one granite bathtub, its shape and think how much would a craftsman handle by hand such an object? In principle, the “omnipotent” master would spend his whole life on one bath, if he really created it.

And the next person who raises questions is Auguste Montferrand. Yes, he is not a Russian, but a French architect, but he and Samson Sukhanov together created some of the most incredible objects in the world.

Apart from the fact that there are drawings of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Alexander Column even before the official start of their construction, I asked myself a slightly different question.

If anything, according to the official history, St. Isaac's Cathedral began to be built in 1818

If anything, according to the official history, St. Isaac's Cathedral began to be built in 1818.

As another “great” specialist, a French architect, he managed to design and control everything. And the incredible granite columns of the cathedral and the creation of the Alexander Column, its installation?

Summing up these two "great" masters, we learn only that they had some kind of superhuman abilities. There were several Samsons in general, from several fathers and several dates of birth.

By the way, I read that there were at least two Augusts of Montferrand in history. But what is the bottom line? Who are these two "great specialists", where and when they were born, where and when they died, who are their relatives and offspring, what did they look like? - nothing is known.

And there is more than one such story. I know at least a few more examples when nothing is known about the creators of something incredible, for mysterious reasons.

And this is the case not only in Russia, but also in the history of other states. Masters, architects and other "great" specialists of the 18th century are known only for some half-baked history, in which there are many inconsistencies.

The article is already getting big, although I have described only two people. I'll think about it, but if such a topic is interesting, it will be possible to write a sequel, since I know similar inconsistencies with the masters.

The only thing I want to say is that if you learn about some architect, say, of the 20th century, then most likely everything will be known. If the master is outstanding, then the offspring and the place of burial and the years of life, everything in general, are known.

And the "builders of Petersburg" apparently did too little to know their history in detail. In fact, everyone should see the obvious inconsistencies and "gaps" in the story.
