Video: George Washington’s Vision For America | History 2024, May

An incredible historical phenomenon: America, a country of farmers who did not find happiness at home and sailed into the wild lands, across the ocean, in search of a better life, and swindlers of all stripes, has become a leading world power in 200 years.

And no matter how we treat the United States today, no matter how cursed the ambitions of its leaders, the fact remains: so far the United States is one of the main players in the political and economic arena. And the cornerstone of America's rise was undoubtedly laid by the first President of the United States, George Washington.

Flipping through Washington's memoirs

It was in the winter of 1777 … The War of Independence was going on, and its outcome was unknown. The militias were warming themselves by bonfires in Forge Valley, awaiting orders from the commander, and Washington still could not decide how to continue the campaign. Suddenly a strange feeling came over him. Later, George Washington described this in his memoirs:

“I was sitting, bending over my desk, composing a military dispatch. Suddenly a light breeze ran through my hair, and a shining female figure appeared in front of me. The woman was very beautiful. Thoughts were confused: who is she, where is she from? I wanted to jump up, but an unknown force pressed me against the back of the chair.

A strange warmth spread throughout the body, muscles relaxed, a veil clouded over his eyes. The surrounding objects began to blur, and the stranger melted with them, and three visions struck me. They all talked about the most powerful crises that should befall America in the future."

Attention, dear readers! The first two visions that appeared to the President of the United States have already come true, but. the third is still waiting in the wings - that is, we have a unique chance to check whether the woman who saw George Washington told the truth.

But back to his memoirs

So, the first picture: “I saw a certain creature that, like an angel, hovered in the air between Europe and America. Taking water from the ocean in its palms, it sprinkled America with its right hand, and Europe with its left. And above them immediately a black cloud appeared, then merged into a single mass, slowly floating westward and enveloping America in dirty folds. Bright flashes of lightning shone through the dark haze, and I heard the muffled cries and groans of my people."

As you know, screams and groans really sounded - no longer in a dream, but in reality: the war was gaining momentum.

The ocean water that a woman who had dreamed of Washington sprinkled America meant that the country would be forcibly divided. And so it happened: the North rebelled against the South. Black clouds symbolized the waves of hatred that swept America.

Scene Two: “An ominous ghost was approaching our country. He flew over villages, towns, cities, the inhabitants of which were already lined up for battle. Then I saw a bright angel, on whose forehead rested a sparkling crown with burning letters: “Unification.” He hoisted the American flag between the warring parties and said: “Remember

those: you are brothers! "Hearing the call of heaven, people laid down their arms and stood around the state banner."

And finally, the last third vision: “Then a terrible picture appeared to my eyes. Lead clouds rose from the direction of Europe, Asia and Africa, forming a thick curtain, against which a dark red light flickered. I saw crowds of armed men looting and burning cities and villages in America. But the guardian angel appeared, accompanied by the heavenly host and proclaimed: "As long as the stars shine and the heavens send moisture to the earth, until then there will be a republic."

Heavenly prompter

For several days, Washington walked around amazed: what was it - a warning from a guardian angel or a demonic temptation? Or is he just going crazy from the exorbitant loads?

But, apparently, the visions of the general were sent by higher forces: after that night, events began to develop exclusively in favor of the army of Washington. Mindful of the innumerable troubles threatening the country, the commander threw away all hesitations. He chose the tactics of surprise attacks - and began to gain one victory after another.

The mysterious woman no longer appeared to him, but the impression was that in difficult situations someone dictated the right decisions to Washington.

The fact of visions to Washington is immortalized on the wall of the Federal Hall in New York

Judging by the notes from Washington, he is so used to "heavenly prompting" that he even invented his own way of communicating with the guardian angel. Washington wrote out different options for action in a given situation on separate pieces of paper and began to sequentially read each of the pieces of paper.

If a headache began to hurt, Washington believed that this method of solution was wrong - and without any pity tore the paper to shreds, even if experience and reason suggested that the decision was very reasonable. No, Washington, true to himself, took the next sheet - and again peered at the lines written in his own hand.

The leaf, which evoked a feeling of lightness, joy, was considered the only correct one, and the decision written on it was not discussed - this is evidenced by Washington's diary kept in the US Library of Congress.

Magic protection

Later, the first president of the United States developed a whole system of state symbols, serving as a protective talisman for the American people and at the same time playing the role of a conductor between the state and the spiritual patrons of the nation.

Suffice it to recall the national currency of America - the dollar. The portrait of the founder of the state, George Washington, is located on the front side of the very first one-dollar bill - and this is logical. What else is shown on the banknotes?

On the front side there is a standard set of signs of any currency in the world: denomination, expressed in numbers and words, the name of the country and the issuing bank, a portrait of the head of state. On the reverse side there is an inscription “We believe in God”. And a powerful Masonic symbol: a pyramid with an all-seeing eye. The all-seeing eye at the top is a connection with the gods who patronize Washington and all of America.

This means that, overshadowed by the attention of the Almighty, the American nation, like the pyramid, will stand for tens of thousands of years. Roman numerals resting at the base of the pyramid are the year of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

Accepting this symbolism, Washington pursued a noble goal: if higher powers helped to prevent the first black prophecy from being fulfilled, then they will help protect America after his death. This is why there are so many mystical symbols on American banknotes.

George Washington died in 1799, long before the onset of the Iron XX century. Centuries of the worst wars - and the most powerful rise of the United States.
