Ancient civilizations, Maya. How did extraterrestrial beings create humanity?
The ancient book of the Mayan tribe is of great historical importance. It was originally called the Sacred Book. The book consists of a series of stories explaining the origin of the world, civilizations and various natural phenomena.
The ancestors of the Maya tribe referred to certain celestial beings, the creators of humanity and all living things. First, man was created, then the earth, clouds and mountains arose from the water. Valleys, trees and numerous plants were formed. The creation of all living things was explained by the magical influence of some higher powers. The creators of man "sat in heaven" and there were four of them.
The ancient text notes several times that the heavenly beings were not immediately able to create the world and it should not have been perfect. Before people appeared, completely unsuccessful attempts at reproduction were made.
“Flesh was made of red earth, but they saw that it was not good. She had no strength, she was soft. She was given her word, but she had no reason. Then she was swallowed up in water, unable to get up … They, who give life, were not happy. Once again they came to consult. And it was decided that man (man) should be made from oak and woman from willow; but they were not happy with the result. These were not people, they were dolls. They inhabited the surface of the earth. They existed and multiplied, but they had no heart, no mind, no memory of their creators. They led a useless life and lived like animals."
The second attempt to create intelligent creatures was also unsuccessful and they were exterminated by the forces of nature.

And only in the third attempt were four perfect people created. “Their flesh was entirely made of yellow and white corn,” is how the creation of humans is described in the sacred Maya texts.
