Specialists who reached the surface of the relict Lake Vostok the day before are looking for the Fuhrer's cache, created by the Nazis at the end of World War II
A group of Russian scientists from the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute was able to reach the surface of Lake Vostok for the first time on Monday, February 6, where, according to the archives of the German navy, the Nazis built a secret storage facility for Adolf Hitler at the end of World War II.
“The German submarine fleet is proud to present its latest development - an impregnable fortress for our Fuhrer, which will be created on the other side of the world, in Antarctica,” said Nazi Admiral Karl Donitz back in 1943.
Submarine U-530 arrived at the South Pole in 1945.
At the same time, a team of specialists reached the surface of Lake Vostok, where they built an ice cave. It contained several boxes with top-secret materials, including personal files of Hitler himself.
A unique underground lake, formed more than 20 million years ago, was supposed to serve as a haven for the remains of the Fuhrer himself and his mistress Eva Braun.
According to some reports, after the mysterious deaths of Hitler and Brown, their bodies were taken by another submarine to the ice storage in the hope that one day they could be cloned by DNA.
