In the Austrian Republic, domestic cats are mysteriously disappearing, dozens of them. Cat lovers from the city of Frauenkirchen hide their pets at home, refusing to let them out now.
Local law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to determine where the fifty animals that disappeared in the past week alone have gone. However, the police have not yet been able to demonstrate to the public any results of their work.
It is noteworthy that several cats were found with traces of trauma. Local veterinarians examined the animals and provided them with medical assistance, concluding that the cats themselves could not inflict such injuries on themselves. Perhaps someone used some traps to catch them, but at the moment nothing can be said with certainty. It is doubtful that in such a prosperous country, pets would covet the edible baits scattered around the city by some intruders.
Some Austrian experts have more daring theories. For example, that felines can be abducted by aliens. Why not? There is a lot of documentary evidence that alien ships abduct cows, deer, bears and even sharks from Earth. What in this case prevents representatives of extraterrestrial civilization from taking on board their aircraft much smaller creatures? "Little green men", as you know, have long been interested in all species inhabiting the planet, and our mustachioed favorites may not be an exception.
Otto Bierbaum, head of the Frauenkirchen veterinary service, notes that anything is possible, but first of all, you should look for a person who is capable of indulging in such cruel entertainment. Birbaum hopes that all the cats will be found by the police and, if necessary, cured, and the alleged perpetrator will receive the punishment he deserves.
