The prophecy of Saint Malachi - the last pontiff

Saint Malachi is a famous Catholic saint, born in 1094 in Ulster (Ireland).
From an early age he believed in God, spending all his free time in prayer. They soon learned about this amazing child who was praying all the time, and when he grew up, he was appointed a deacon, after some time he was ordained a priest, became a missionary, converting the population to the Christian faith. He was loved by everyone, people came to him to receive his blessing.
Once Pope Innocent II, who summoned him to an audience, gave his guest an unprecedented honor. In the presence of the cardinals, he placed his miter on Malachi saying seemingly strange words: “Let everyone fall prostrate before him! This man was sent down to us by the Almighty!"

As the chronicle says, Saint Malachi spent all nights in the Vatican library: he was writing some strange mysterious book. When Malachi died, the manuscript of this book wandered from one monastery to another for a long time, and only at the end of the 16th century, four and a half centuries after his death, this document was found and everyone learned about it. The work was called "The Prediction of the Popes".
It was, in fact, a catalog, it listed 112 priests who have occupied or will continue to occupy the holy papal throne.
The catalog begins with a contemporary of Saint Malachy, Celestine II. He was on the throne for a short time, less than six months. Then there are 111 pontiffs, and each is characterized in the form of aphorisms in Latin. Malachi does not even name names, he concentrates on the qualities of the popes and discusses what each of them will bring to the mortal world.
He gives the exact dates of the reign of the popes, here is the end of the list:
108. Paul VI (1963-1978). Flower of flowers.

“At the end of time, the place of the Holy Roman Church will be taken by Peter Romanov, who will feed the weak-willed, making many calamities. At this time, the City of Seven Hills will be destroyed and the Monstrous Judge will judge the people. The end.
Experts acknowledge Malachi's very precise characterization of popes. Almost everything is the same.
For example: 101 Pope Leo XIII is said to be "about the light of heaven" - and in fact, on his coat of arms there was an image of a comet. Pope Urbun VIII, who occupied the papal throne in the first half of the 17th century, is nicknamed "Lily and the Rose" by Malachi; experts interpret it this way: the reconciliation of Protestant England (rose) with Catholic France (lily) as a result of the marriage of King Charles II Stuart and Marie Antoinette, daughter of Henry IX. A very curious characterization of Pope Pius VII, whose pontificate falls on Napoleonic rule, this Pope Malachi calls the Stolen Eagle. The emperor Napoleon is meant by the symbol of the eagle, he threw the pope into prison, from which he came out only after the overthrow of the monarchy. After that, he again ascended the holy throne.
A closer example in time is Pope Benoit XV, who led the Church from 1914 to 1922. His reign in Malachi is listed under the sign of "Extermination of Christians." This has been confirmed by life, since millions of believers died during the First World War.
However, the main thing in the saint's treatise is not only that the descriptions of the popes coincide, but an unexpected ending. According to the prophecy of Malachi, fate prepared a tragic ending for the institute of the papacy, and, according to the saint, only 112 popes, starting with Celestine II, will be able to sit on the throne, then the mission of the papacy ceases, holy Rome will fall and the Apocalypse will come.
Pope John Paul II died in 2005, more details about this pontiff are written later. This Pope, beloved by all, and the saint goes under the motto "From the labors of the Sun", they interpret this motto in different ways, some say that he is named so because he was born during a total solar eclipse, others note increased solar activity during the ascent Pope to the throne.
The death of this Pope is much more tragic than it might seem, in his departure there seem to be notes of warning, as if humanity, with his departure, has taken a step towards its end.
Pope Benedict XVI is described by Malachi as "the glory of the olive." Sometimes as a "triumph of peace." Oliva is a symbol of peace.
Next comes a warning that the last pope will be Peter of Rome or Peter Romanov, with the arrival of which the world will face a catastrophe.
Malachi unequivocally says that as soon as the 112th Peter of Rome or Peter II ascends the throne (the first was the Apostle Peter, a disciple of Christ, who established the institution of popes, since that time no one has taken this name), the end of the world will come. What Malachi says about the last Pope indicates the end of the world, and the symbolism chosen by the saints is reminiscent of the “Revelations of John the Theologian.” Some researchers believe that this is nothing more than a warning that the institution of papacy will sooner or later exhaust itself. Maybe they are talking about the global formation of the Church.
The prophecies of Malachi echo the predictions of Nostradamus. In particular, he also says that with the arrival of the 112th Pope, "common blood will flood the earth, people will live with their mouths closed and the unpredictable will come." Some scholars believe that Nostradamus was familiar with the prophecies of Malachi. Here is what Malachi specifically says about the reign of the last two popes: “The reign of the 111th Pope will be short-lived,” but this time will be marked by the fact that during his reign “the long-awaited peace between nations and prosperity on the whole earth can come. The joy, however, will be short-lived."
The 112th Pope will be the last. He will reign during The Monster Judge; one must think that this refers to the Antichrist, about whom the patriarch Jacob spoke.
All studies of the predictions of other saints turned out to be consonant with the prophecies of Malachi, even the prophecies of the Bible have much in common with his predictions. Even Jesus Christ himself says that before the end comes and the Antichrist reigns, the Gospel of the Kingdom will have to be preached in the world, and this time will not be long.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).
According to the vision of the prophet Daniel, the last time will last two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings (Dan. 8: 14-17, 26). That is, 6 years 3 months and 20 days. The last 3.5 years, based on the book of "Revelation" of the Apostle John the Theologian, the Antichrist will rule. The prophecies of Malachi tell us that the end times are running out. The same is prophesied by modern saints, for example, Father Nikolai Guryanov predicted, even when Yeltsin ruled. When the priest was asked who will be after Yeltsin, he replied: "After there will be a military man!" - "Soon?" - “His power will be linear, but his age is small, and he himself. There will be persecutions against the monks and the church. Power will be like under the Communists and the Politburo."
Many holy fathers prophesied for the coming of the Antichrist, here is a quote from the Greek texts: “The last times have not yet come, and it is completely wrong to believe that we are on the threshold of the coming of the Antichrist, because there is still one and the last flowering of Orthodoxy, this time all over the world in led by Russia.
