Hans Kohler, captain of the German Navy, is known for the invention of two devices - the Stromzeuger (power generator) and the Magnetstromapparat (magnetic force current apparatus).

Little is known about these devices. Firstly, it was a long time ago and in wartime, and secondly, they were classified. And, although the British declassified part of the data on this issue in 1978, only 30 of the 200 pages about the device were made public.

The history of these inventions began long ago - in 1923, when Kohler began work on an energy generator. It should be noted right away that the principle of operation of the devices is still unknown and no one, not even the inventor, has been able to explain it. True, since Kohler later worked under the guidance of a professor at the Munich Technical University, Winfred Schumann, known for developing the theory of the Earth-ionosphere wave resonance, an attempt was made to explain the operation of devices by the effect of low-frequency waves.

In 1925, Kohler tried to patent an energy generator, but he was refused because the patent office did not register patents for "perpetual motion machines." But these two parallel plates with a set of electric coils and magnets still produced 10 watts of power, so German scientists became interested in them and the generator was successfully tested several times. Therefore, Kohler attracted the attention of the German Navy and soon he was already working under their patronage. The main thing is that he got several sponsors, and by 1933 a new device appeared - a device for force magnetic current, which gave out 12 volts at the output. It was already a more complex device - a hexagon with coils and magnets.

Apparently, after all, the work began to give some results, since by 1937 he had created an apparatus with a capacity of 6 kW., And patented it in 1939.

The war broke out, the blueprints were stolen, the device was bombed and Kohler fell into a depression, but soon recovered and created a more powerful unit. According to some memoirs, such as "someone heard somewhere," Kohler's apparatus provided electricity to the house of a certain official in Germany for three years.

Another half-myth - it was planned to supply such an engine with a certain secret submarine.

After the war, all the documentation on the project and the inventor himself were in English captivity. Then there are some rumors. The British politely asked him to demonstrate the operation of his unit and he did it successfully. Then Kohler's traces are lost and he was last seen only in 1962 in the United States. According to unverified information, in the United States he was attracted to study the "artifacts" of a flying saucer that crashed in Roswell.

As for the apparatus, it appeared again in the USA, somewhere in our time, at some congress of physicists. It worked, but its power was simply ridiculous.

As a result, all materials on this issue are very controversial and there are no practical results. Now, with the development of new technologies, it makes no sense to develop such outdated and low-power units, although who knows …
