A superficial view of the world
Mars is Earth's closest neighbor among the planetary members of our star system. Making their endless path around the Sun, both space wanderers continuously revolve in closed elliptical orbits, completing an annual cycle, and the astronomical Martian year is about twice the Earth's. Rushing in the silent blackness, orbiting neighbors can disperse over huge distances, but every 780 Earth days they approach each other again. This period, lasting no more than three months, is called "opposition." And Earth's astronomers are looking forward to such moments to cuddle up to their telescopes, dreaming of unraveling the mysteries of Mars - a mysterious red dot deep in space.
Great confrontations, the frequency of which is about 16 years on average, have awakened a sense of vague anxiety in ordinary, uneducated people for centuries. And the bloody disc, for a certain time becoming the brightest in the sky, evoked unpleasant associations in ancient man. It was rumored that it was not for nothing that in ancient times the planet was considered a harbinger of war. Dark, cruel and bloody battles of peoples on Earth took place during this period.
Now Mars is connected with the hopes of mankind, awaiting the approach of the planet in order to reach its limits. And the dream of conquering and mastering the mysterious island of space does not leave earthlings. European countries, the USA and Russia have planned such flights more than once. For example, the USSR ordered the launch of a spacecraft powered by the energy of the sun in June 1971, but for many reasons, this project was never implemented.
The first manned expedition in the history of civilization, preparation for which is underway in the Netherlands, according to plans, will take place in 2023. The Mars One project is waiting for its heroes. And they, if everything goes well, will enter the red soil of an unknown planet. Only returning back is not planned. The rocket, with four people on board, will go to Mars without the right to return. With supplies of water, air and food, the crew members will look for traces of extraterrestrial life.
Significant difficulties are foreseen. And no one knows yet whether the efforts, costs and human sacrifices are worth the information that the unknown world of the endless Universe will reveal to earthlings. After all, what essentially does the Earth civilization have today to oppose the silent cruel space, even with the latest technical equipment? Own view of the world and superficial vision, capable of perceiving only the two-dimensional essence of things, without looking deeper. What can the messengers of the Earth see? Only a small part of the vast world.

But not everything is so hopeless and gloomy. In fact, humanity has long come into contact with the migrants from Mars, having received from them very valuable information. But who are these aliens? Martian meteorites.
This is a very rare type of cosmic bodies that visit the old Earth. It is only worth noting that, according to statistics, out of seven hundred meteorites that have reached the limits of our planet, only one has a Martian origin. Scientists determine this by studying the isotopic composition of the gases contained in the thickness of these bodies, albeit in the most microscopic proportions. The information is compared with the composition of the atmosphere of the Red Planet, known from the data obtained from the Viking spacecraft.
The first meteorite of this kind, discovered in the deserts of Egypt a century ago, was named Nakhla. Its age is determined by a billion years. With the development of science, he was able to tell scientists his amazing story about the cataclysms on Mars that occurred in that distant era. It is difficult to understand whether the cause of the catastrophe was another meteorite, an asteroid of enormous size or a great power of volcanic eruptions became a nightmare for that little world, far from us in time and space. However, the force of the explosion, which became the reason for the resettlement of the "alien" to Earth, was so huge that this piece of the Martian crust overcame the gravity of its home planet and flew to Earth at a speed of more than 5 km / sec.
Millennial wanderings
According to science, about half a ton of Martian rocks fall on our planet every year. It is not at all necessary, and even extremely unlikely, that they immediately fly to Earth. Most often, before being on the surface of an alien cosmic body, such fragments of Mars wander through the cosmic void for thousands of years until they fall under the gravitational effect of any massive formation.
Traveling in this way, meteorites are subjected to very intense bombardment with particles from the Sun. This produces special isotopes. Later, falling into the field of vision of scientists, such material formations help to accurately determine the time interval of these bodies in outer space, which becomes another source for obtaining the necessary data.
A new sensation was found in July 2011, a fragment of the Martian rock, a fragment of a meteorite called Tissint. This traveler, before reaching the limits of the Earth, wandered in outer space for about seven hundred millennia. An analysis of its composition led scientists to a sensational conclusion about the possibility of the appearance and subsequent existence of certain organic life forms on Mars.
Earthly messengers
Most of the meteorites leave their original location, one might say, places that have been inhabited for thousands of years, due to the impact on the surface of the planets falling into the field of their gravity, which are impressive in terms of the mass of cosmic bodies. When a large object falls, it knocks out fragments of rocks of various sizes, which scatter in different directions, like water spray.
The described mechanisms work, of course, not only on the Red Planet, but on the Moon and, of course, on Earth. Therefore, theoretically, it is very likely that the particles of our soil get to Mars, moreover, they find themselves in incredibly distant limits of space, carrying their information in themselves. They are quite capable of communicating information about us and our history to representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. If only there were reasonable witnesses on the countless islands of space in their infinite number.

After all, the difference in the mass of these space objects is significant. The earth, as a material formation, is much more massive. This means that it attracts other objects more intensively, which, when falling and having a significant impact, provoke the falling of earth's fragments into outer space.
According to astronomers, the Earth annually captures a huge number of space "wanderers" by its gravity. The largest of them, with a diameter of more than a hundred meters, fall on our planet only once in millions of years. Such falls represent the most real catastrophes for the earthly world. The reason for one of them was a body with a ten-kilometer size, which put an end to the era of dinosaurs, provoking global changes in climate and living conditions on Earth.
Without a doubt, the debris of the earth that formed during that period still wander in space, carrying valuable information. These "messages" represent a story about that era, information about the place and time of the catastrophe, which became the reason for their wanderings in a cosmic alien land. They are also able to tell everyone who wants to know about the existence of life on Earth. It remains only to guess or write fantasy novels about what could or could happen to them.
