You may not believe in miracles, but it would be foolish to deny the existence of these ten truly strange incidents in history. 1. Apparitions of the Virgin in Zeytun (1968-1970)

4. Statue of the Mother of God of Akita (1973-1975)
In 1973, the nun Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa in the Japanese prefecture of Akita had a vision of the Virgin Mary. A cruciform wound appeared on the inside of her left arm. She bled profusely, which caused her incredible suffering.
Sister Agnes also heard a voice coming from the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the chapel where she was praying. According to the other sisters, this same statue also bled and tears flowed from her eyes. Recorded 101 cases of moisture release on the sculpture of the Virgin Mary. Scientists from Akita Medical University have analyzed and confirmed that blood and tears are human.
5. Our Lady of Lourdes (1858)
Bernadette Soubirous, a fourteen-year-old peasant woman, told her mother that she saw “Madame” while gathering firewood in the forest.

In 1630, Giuseppe participated in a procession dedicated to the memory of St. Francis of Assisi, when he suddenly soared above the crowd. This was not his first levitation, and he soon became known as the "Flying Saint".
7. Cloak of Juan Diego (1474 -1548)
Saint Juan Diego Cuauchtlatoatzin claimed that in 1531 he witnessed the apparition of the Virgin Mary, who introduced herself as the Mother of God from Guadeloupe. A native Mexican, he became the most successful missionary to spread the Catholic faith in what is now Mexico.
On the day when the Mother of God appeared to him, he returned to the house of his uncle Juan Bernardinho and found him dying. The next day he went in search of a priest who could accompany his uncle on his last journey. The Virgin Mary appeared to him again, assuring him that his uncle would not die, and asked him to climb the hill and pick flowers that he would find there.
Despite the fact that the flowers could not bloom at this time of the year, he climbed the mountain and found the roses of Castile there, which he picked. The Mother of God carefully wrapped the roses in Juan Diego's cloak and told him not to unfold it in front of anyone except the bishop.
When Juan unfolded the cape in front of the holy father, the roses fell off, and the miraculous face of the Virgin Mary appeared on the inside. The real cloak is today on display in Guadeloupe to this day and is one of the most revered shrines, visited by pilgrims from all over the world.
8. Father Pio of Pietrelcina (1887 - 1968)
In the world, Francesco Forgione, was canonized as Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. He was a Capuchin priest and monk of Italian descent, famous for his stigmata.
Padre Pio wanted to keep his torment of faith a secret, but in 1919 news of the stigmatic saint began to spread throughout the Catholic world. The miracles of Padre Pio have been witnessed by many people, including physicists.
People close to him claimed that he had other supernatural abilities: the divine gift of healing, biolocation, levitation, predicting the future, refusal of sleep and food, the ability to “read” human souls, the ability to languages, the gift of transformation and fragrance from his wounds. His body remains incorrupt after death.
9. Lancha miracle (AD 700)
In the Italian city of Lanciano, a certain Basilian monk participated in the sacrament of the Eucharist in the small church of Saint Legontian. During the service, pronouncing the words of the prayer, he saw how bread turns into living flesh, and wine - into real blood.
The flesh is the whole heart with its basic building blocks. Flesh and blood have the same blood groups (AB), traces of which have also been found on the Turin Shroud and other Eucharistic miracles.
The flesh of Christ is similar in size to the bread of Holy Communion used today in church services. The flesh consists of the muscle tissue of the heart, which is brownish in color. Blood is composed of five coagulable elements and has an earthy color reminiscent of the yellow shade of ocher.
10. Miracle of the Sun (1917)
The Miracle of the Sun is a miraculous phenomenon, witnessed by 100,000 people. It happened on October 13, 1917 on the Cova da Iria field near the Portuguese city of Fatima.
As eyewitnesses testify, after the downpour, the leaden clouds opened up and the sun appeared in the form of a dull rotating disc.
Witnesses claim that the "sun" fell on the ground in a zigzag pattern, stunning the already frightened audience. This miraculous phenomenon is attributed to the Fatima Mother of God, who appeared in the form of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This mystical incident was officially recognized as a miracle by the Roman Catholic Church in 1930.
