Probably precisely because the discovery does not fit into consciousness, contradicts all the accumulated life experience, contradicts simply common sense, protection is triggered.
The curtains fall, and the eye does not perceive reality. And is it not surprising, is it conceivable that New York could be built on the ruins of a megalithic structure and not notice it? There is no need to complicate, no need to go into the jungle. History shows that in fact, everything has a simple and logical explanation. There is nothing tricky about such things. If a dagger from the pharaoh's tomb with traces of rations and images of wolves hunting deer is sold for fabulous money, this does not mean that Tutankhamun's courtiers had soldering irons in their arsenal, and wolves ran in Egypt. In this case, we see fragments of megalithic structures created from basalt, which contains a high percentage of mica and pyrite. It is thanks to the abundant inclusion of pyrite grains in its composition that the basalt glows with a golden sheen in the sun. By the way, I explain by this effect the descriptions of Mount Meru among the ancients. It sparkled with pyrite in the sun, and to the observer from the side it seemed golden.
And the sinuous texture of the stone suggests that it was exposed to high temperatures, which brought it into a state of viscous fluidity, as is the case with a volcanic eruption. The red color of many stones indicates a high content of iron in them, and it is very likely that this iron is not "dissolved" in the rock, but a mixture of the melt of steel structures with molten basalt lava has occurred. A huge number of slightly damaged blocks, which have preserved very clearly visible traces of artificial origin, testifies that the ancient structure, although it was destroyed as a result of the mechanical effect of a colossal force, but the volume and mass that made up this structure were such that it was impossible to completely wipe it off the face land all the signs of its appearance as a result of intelligent activity.
The presence of traces of high temperatures suggests that the megalithic structure was destroyed as a result of a powerful earthquake, accompanied by an abundant eruption of volcanic lava. Exactly the same signs can be observed in the Stone City and the Devil's Settlement in the Urals, which I wrote about earlier. Or, all this is the result of the use of the most powerful weapons, comparable to nuclear, but superior in power at times, or even orders of magnitude. Can you imagine how powerful an explosion must be to scatter a megalithic city like matchboxes, and at the same time a boiling lava lake remained at the epicenter, the fiery streams of which, spreading out, melted fragments of slabs and blocks weighing tens and hundreds of tons?
Obviously, the builders of New York had no idea that they were building a new city on the site of the "Ground Zero", in comparison with which the Manhattan "Ground", which remained on the site of the Exploded World Trade Center, is just a pimple on the body of an elephant. They used the ruins as if they were ordinary construction rubbish and hauled them down to the coast to equip the beach. We used fragments of blocks and slabs as rubble, filler in timber pile formwork. It is also necessary to remember the attitude of the aborigines to the place on which New York was built. It was sacred for them, which means that they knew a lot of what we would have to rediscover.
The New Yorkers themselves would have trampled on priceless artifacts for another thousand years, and most likely they will completely. At least we learned at least something about the fact that before the Americans there was something majestic, mysterious, and clearly somehow connected with the history of other continents, which undoubtedly had a common, inseparable past. And the past is a single continent of Gondwana, or Pangea. When there were no seas and oceans on earth, when it was possible to bypass the entire globe on dry land, only forcing rivers.
