A woman named Ding Aihua from Shandong Province, China, suffers from large hard stones regularly coming out of her eyes. Each time, her husband removes another stone with a piece of wire.
According to her husband Liang Xinchun, at first his wife begins to have a severe headache, and then a large stone appears under the eyelid. The husband and wife live in a remote village and local doctors could not figure out what the problem was.
Ding Aihua says it all started seven years ago when she suddenly had a severe headache and then a stone appeared in her eye. Her husband helped her remove it, but soon another stone appeared in her eye. Since then, it has become a regular and frequent occurrence. Liang had already collected more than ten stones, which he put into a small bottle.
- During the appearance of the stone, the wife becomes very painful. Sometimes they come from under the lower eyelid, sometimes from under the upper eyelid, and it is very difficult to get them even with a piece of wire, you have to mess around for a long time and every movement hurts my wife.
Liang says that he and his wife tried to visit other doctors in different regions of the country, but no one believed them. Now they decided to tell their story to journalists so that as many people as possible know about it. This helped, after publications in the local media, Liao's wife was taken to the Aier Eye Hospital, where she began to undergo examination.

Dr. Cui says that they did not find any foreign objects in the woman's eyes, they could only diagnose conjunctivitis and trachoma (a chronic eye infection). However, they are now studying stones previously removed from the woman's eyes.
This is not the first such case. In 2014, the media reported about a 12-year-old boy from Yemen who had small stones coming out of his eyes.
