The village of Rechnoy Oparinsky district of the Kirov region is more and more often called cursed by local residents. Here they tell stories about the yeti living in the forests, and in these forests people disappear with frightening frequency.
On October 28, 2013, Anatoly Ivanovich Galkin disappeared in the forest. The man worked as a pediatrician in a district hospital. The locals respected him. On that day, Galkin went hunting with his friends. On the way, the man discovered that he had forgotten the gun at home and decided to go after it by car.
On the way, he punched a wheel, changed it at a car service (a check was found in the car) and came back. Anatoly left the weapon cover on the car seat. But he himself did not reach the place where his friends were expecting him. He was never found.
- Almost six months later, his things were found by the pond: boots, a cigarette case and a lighter. They also say that there was a part of a leg in the boot, - says local resident Elena.
On November 3, 2013, two young brothers, Seryozha and Vova Kulakov, left their home. Presumably the boys went into the forest, but got lost and could not find their way. They also have not yet been found dead or alive.
And just two days after the disappearance of the children, the hunter Gennady Gromov disappeared. His remains were found almost a year later. It is believed that the man drowned in a small puddle, but it is unknown whether an autopsy was done or what the official cause of his death was.
- My stepfather went into the forest, not far from the village for birch brooms, - says a local resident, Olga. - There is a small reservoir next to the village dump. Suddenly he saw something black in a puddle. Looked closely, and this is the missing hunter of Thunders! Dead! He got so scared and ran screaming home.

Earlier, Gromov managed to take part in the search for the missing boys. He was so alarmed by their disappearance that he personally walked around two nearby swamps with his dog.

It is curious that in the village Gromov was considered a strange person, he could go too far with alcohol and carry some kind of nonsense about his deceased wife.
“His deceased wife often came to him in reality,” says Olga, a local resident. “Perhaps he saw her again and followed her into the water and drowned.
From the posture of the deceased, one could assume that Gennady Gromov simply fell asleep in a puddle. However, the locals, and many who were looking for children, do not consider this case an ordinary one. Rumor has it that since he was actively looking for children, maybe he was killed because he found or saw something that he shouldn't have. And another unclear fact. Gromov's body was found almost near the village itself. But why was it discovered only in May?
The most resonant of these three cases was the disappearance of children. They searched for the boys for a long time and carefully, even six months later, when the snow melted in the spring. We hoped to find at least their remains, but it was all in vain. They also immediately attracted a service dog, but for some reason she refused to go into the forest and circled near the house where the children lived.
Their mother told that the children went to the forest, she saw through the window how the boys walked towards the forest. The Kulakovs' family lived at the end of the street, their house practically rested against the forest line. But the children never went into the depths alone. And here, at the beginning of November … Mushrooms and berries have long been gone. Why did they go to the forest?
For 7 months of searching for children, hundreds of interrogations were carried out, almost nine square kilometers of forest were combed, basements, attics and abandoned buildings not only of the village of Rechnoy, but also of the district center of Oparino were examined, but no results were found. The water in the local pond was drained into the river; there were no corpses at the bottom. The boys are gone. Without a trace.
One of the first to suspect the boys' stepfather, since the man had a serious conviction - 15 years for murder with extreme cruelty. But the locals never heard any scandals or screams in the Kulakov family, the boys' stepfather was not noticed drunk.
The man, after he came to live in the village of Rechnoy, behaved quietly, worked, supported his large family. In his free time, he helped the boys with lessons, was always interested in their studies. And the mother of the missing children says that Alexei never shouted at the children and never raised his hand against them. In addition, this version again lacks the main thing - the motive. It also turned out that on the day the children disappeared, the man was practically surfing the Internet.
Then rumors began to circulate that the boys' mother had killed the children and buried them in the garden, saying that this is why the dog did not go into the forest, but circled around the house.
- Sometimes it seemed to me that the whole world was against me. The villagers were pointing fingers at me, whispering, gossiping. My oldest daughter was bullied at school. She was told: “Your mother and stepfather are murderers,” says Marina Kulakova.
The mother of Seryozha and Vova is sure that someone took the children away. According to her version, most likely these were gypsies who often came to sell clothes on weekends. Once they even nearly hit a neighbor's girl. Only the gypsies that day, and indeed this week, were not seen in the village.
According to Marina, her boys were domestic, modest and obedient children and could not escape to the city (this version also surfaced) or go somewhere with strangers.
Vova and Seryozha often come to Marina in her sleep. At first, in visions, they complained of fever and abdominal pain. Now more often, in a dream, mom recalls their evenings together: how the children picked flowers, how they congratulated her on her birthday, how they tried not to disturb the pregnant mother, how they helped her with the housework and said that they loved her very much.
There are also suspicious details in this whole story. Near the village of Rechnoy there is the settlement of Severny, in which there is a colony where prisoners are serving sentences under very serious offenses, and a settlement where convicts move freely around the village.
It is worth noting that the Rechnoy village itself is amazing in one detail - a third of the inhabitants were once in places not so remote. Maybe one of them was involved in the disappearance of boys and two adults, but this is just one of the versions, which they could not prove either.
Well, at the end of this material, a little bit of pure mysticism. Soon after the disappearance of the children, the journalists of the ProChepetsk.ru portal spoke with a resident of Kirovo-Chepetsk, who claimed that he knew how the fate of the boys had developed. The man called himself a necromancer and claimed that he “saw” with his own eyes how everything was in reality on that fateful day.
According to the "clairvoyant", on that day, an unknown man put the children in the boat, but did not secure it well near the shore. Children, having decided to swim in the boat on their own, drowned. The man knows that the kids died because of his negligence, but does not admit it. The necromancer offered to check his words by talking to other psychics.
