The pace of human life has accelerated in the last century. This can be seen in everything that surrounds a person: music, cinema, television. Painting was replaced by photography, which itself developed from a long film process to a digital one. The speed of transport has increased, today overcoming distances of thousands of kilometers is a common thing. Weekly and daily newspapers were transformed into every minute updated Internet portals, and the information itself became virtual, detached from its material carriers, and began to be transmitted over great distances in a split second. It would seem that at such a frantic pace, a person should more often think about what awaits him ahead, about his future, which has begun to approach faster - every day brings something new, prospects open up at an incredible speed. But despite this,a person does not want to think about the future, but, on the contrary, concentrated on the existence "here and now".

Why it happens? There is an answer in the books of the scientist, Kabbalist Michael Laitman. According to the science that he popularizes - Kabbalah, this concentration of a person at the current moment of existence is a defensive reaction of the internal system that controls our body. The main purpose of the existence of an organism that is controlled by such a system is to receive pleasure, no matter what and how, but pleasure should be obtained with minimal effort and energy expenditure. Of all those pleasures that the body can receive at a given time, it should be the maximum. This goal has always existed, but recently, due to the fact that the pace of life has increased, the possibilities of receiving pleasure have also increased, and the body has begun to receive pleasure in greater quantities and much more often.

According to Kabbalah, the desire to receive is inherent in us from the very beginning, and following it, we also experience blows in direct proportion to the pleasure we receive at once, which should force us to change our approach to life.

A person can change his attitude, stop thinking only about today, to some extent this is familiar to him. After all, an ordinary normal parent, for example, in the process of raising children, does not tell them that they need to live here and now. On the contrary, in the process of teaching and upbringing, we tell our children: do this and in the future you will get this. We teach children, but we do not follow this ourselves.

Today there are many techniques that teach people to receive (squeeze) everything possible from today: money, fame, knowledge, bodily pleasures. And Kabbalah just says that we must transfer this approach from receiving pleasure at the present moment to thinking about tomorrow. People do not have innate natural abilities for this, they themselves must change their approach to thinking about the future.

It all depends on what stage of development a person is at. Studying according to the methodology outlined in the science of Kabbalah, we reach such a level of development that the future becomes very important, and we cannot avoid thinking about it. Comprehending this science, our eyes seem to be opening, we begin to see what we exist for, how we develop and what awaits us. Most people now avoid thinking about the future because it is hidden and unknown. But Kabbalah offers to know and comprehend the future, and not only, Kabbalah gives you the opportunity to control your future.

If you take a sober look at life, it becomes clear: we have no way out. We can rush and strive to snatch a piece of "pleasure" here and now, fearfully awaiting tomorrow, or accept the proposed methodology and become the masters of the future.
